Could have been perfect but wasn’t

Location was perfect. Bed was very comfortable.

We had a toilet let that wasn’t fixed. We were ignored completely about it. Nothing else was offered.

Disappointment in the end

The location is great!

Unfortunately 2 days before our leaving, money disappeared from our room. We reported this to the hotel management, but they couldn't say anything but tried to assure us that the hotel staff is trustworthy. It was not comforting for us, as we were sure about how much money we left in our room and how much was missing when we came back. It has never happenned to us before, although we travel to many places every year. Thailand is absolutely miraculous, the food is amazing, nature is amazing, we are a little bit disappointed this had to happen, and I am not sure if we can ever again leave anything valuable in a hotel room after this experience. Be careful people, use the safe deposit box in your room or take your valuables with you.

The staff was amazing. Any issue was resolved immediately. Great design, decorated nicely, the ac worked great. We had a 1st floor that opened to the balcony next to the pool. We had our own stairs into the pool. The restaurant had outdoor seating to watch the street and listen to music while we dined.

I was not a fan of the gigantic fence that was being built. Not sure what it is for. I would say the room could use some maintenance updates(painting in areas, recaulking in shower, updated clothes storage)

Unpleasant Experience

Location … perfect

The hotel and its facilities are outdated and not clean, and several areas require maintenance. There were ants in our room, which was unacceptable. The staff were not friendly, especially at the front desk, and they refused to arrange an anniversary room setup. Overall, I did not enjoy my stay. Considering the high amount we paid, the experience did not reflect the value received.

Excellent location and views, let down by maintenance and inconsistent housekeeping.

The hotel is large and easy to navigate, with plenty of elevators. After upgrading to a premium room, the mountain view significantly improved the stay. The location is excellent - right on the main street, walkable to everything in Ao Nang, with a few parking spots available, which is a real advantage. The bar in front of the hotel has a pleasant atmosphere, good music, and is an easy place to spend an evening.

Bathrooms in both rooms showed clear signs of age, with worn fittings and plumbing issues. Housekeeping quality was inconsistent, with issues such as stained shower areas, dusty tea and coffee trays, unwashed bins, ants in the room, and items left under the bed. The fridge leaked due to unstable electricity. The pool area was decent but lacked enough umbrellas. Staff were polite but not particularly engaged. During the stay, the in-room dining menu was downgraded from a reasonably priced, multi-option menu to a very limited and noticeably overpriced one, which felt poorly handled, especially for long-stay guests.

Don’t count on the front desk manager to help you in an emergency.

It’s a pity, the hotel is very well located, but the customer service—especially from the front desk manager—leaves much to be desired. Unfortunately, I had to return to France urgently due to a family bereavement. Having already stayed 6 nights (from November 15 to 20) at this property, I was unable to use my last planned night (from November 26 to 27). Despite my numerous requests, the hotel made no goodwill gesture and refused to refund this last night or find a solution to provide me with a room or a space on Thursday the 20th, even though my flight wasn’t until 10 p.m. and I absolutely had to vacate my room at 11 a.m. By comparison, the other hotels I had booked under non-refundable conditions fully refunded my stays. I would therefore recommend Phutawan Resort in Railay and Chaokoh Phi Phi Hotel in Koh Phi Phi for a much better level of customer service.

Good for view. Passable for the front end staff.

The breakfast was good with variety of options. Room was clean and spacious. View from the Deluxe Sweet Room balcony was really good with one side getting mountain and another side Sea. The location is good to go to the beach, restaurants by walk.

The front desk staff specially the girls were rude, not welcoming at all. We reached before our check-in time and we were asked to wait as our room wasn't ready. We were fine to wait but the problem was even after our room was ready nobody from the staff inform us. After waiting for an hour when I went to front desk to check if the room was ready, the lady rudely replied. When another lady checked, she found out that the room was ready long back and they just forget to inform us. Very poor check-in experience and staff behavior. The staff didn't know English very well so another problem while communicating. Kids play area was locked for renovation. Jacuzzi is placed in the balcony which doesn't gives privacy at all. We found the people from next hotel were peeking when we were at jacuzzi which was really uncomfortable. The in house restaurant I felt quite expensive. So we avoid it and got our food/drinks from nearby and much better places with good vibe.

The biggest pool in Ao Nang

We were upgrade to a pool view room. This overlooks the huge pool. The pool was very big, lots of sunbeds and perfect temperature to swim in. The pool bar and cafe were great value for money. The location is the best in Ao Nang Krabi. Right on the main street but quiet at the same time. The also have a street side bar with live music, perfect to chill out and people watch.

The reception staff didn't understand much English. Other than that, the check-in experience went well.

Pleasant Stay 15 Minute Walk to the Beach.

Eveything in the room worked. The bed was really soft and comfortable. It had a large screen TV and a long desk with a padded stool and an easy chair. The shower was very nice with a choice of rain showerhead or conventional showerhead. There was a bathtub, but I didn't use it. Water, teabags, and instant coffee was provided and I just asked the housekeeper for replacement bottles because I didn't need my whole room cleaned. I had a room on the 5th floor with balcony that overlooked the swimming pool, which was noisy, but with the sliding glass doors closed the room was always quiet.

This is not an "adult" hotel as advertised. Kids seemed to dominate the pool in the evenings; I mean young ones that needed floatation aids and even a couple times toddlers in diapers. For this reason I never used the pool.

Location - close to everything but far from the noise. There is parking, the room is spacious.

Cleanliness - there were stains on the sofa, our room had access to the pool so the sunbeds were covered in cigarette ash, stains and torn. The staff at the reception were really not nice and unhelpful. Our flight was in the evening so we were interested in a late check-out (of course with a fee) and they said there were no rooms available at all. I went into booking and booked a room with no problem at all..

Rather disappointing stay for a place that's well situated

The location was great. Central between beach and main road/markets. The bed and pillows were comfortable. Restaurant food reasonably costed.

The restaurant staff were great. The others though, front desk, house keeping, very disappointing. I am not sure if it there was a language barrier or what the issue was but I asked to change rooms due to looking into apartment block, it was a straight no. I asked for bedding to be changed during the night as my child was ill, it was a no until I insisted that we need clean bedding. The guy that came then complained that his back was sore as this was not his job. Then to top things off on day of departure at 6am, we were told to carry our own luggage from the room as it was too early. Just wow! Only to get to reception and more than 4 staff members just hanging around waiting for the day to start. The amenities need an upgrade. The towels and bedding is dated and old. I booked this hotel as I was there 5 years ago as well and am very disappointed with my stay this time round.
