    Perfect place, perfect location, way better than many of the 5* global chains and you won't regret a single dime you spent here. Generous sized, modern rooms, ample space and well thought through, friendly staff, 100% clean and well maintained

    grat stay. very good hotel with great and big pool suitable also for swimming, everything is clean and staff is super helpfull and friendly. It s not so far to beach by walk. seven eleven is next door just like all restaurands and massages , scooter rental is just across the street . i recomend this

    The location of Sugar Marina Resort – CLIFFHANGER is convenient, right on Ao Nang Street, although it is about a 15-minute walk to the beach. Unfortunately, the overall experience was quite average and there were several issues. The biggest problem was the **complete lack of response from the hotel’s reservation team**. I booked through Agoda and contacted the hotel several weeks before arrival to confirm my reservation, but received no response. I contacted them again one week before arrival and still heard nothing. I eventually had to call the hotel using a landline from Malaysia, only to discover that **our booking was not even in their system**. After several calls back and forth between Agoda and the hotel, they finally managed to locate the reservation. Even after the booking was confirmed, I emailed again to request **connecting rooms**, but once again received no response. The room itself was disappointing. The **toilet door was broken, the room lighting was extremely dim**, and cleanliness was only average. There were also **visible stains on the bedsheets**. Toiletries were not provided, so I would recommend bringing your own. The breakfast was also just average and nothing particularly impressive. Another thing to be aware of is that the **old and new wings are separated**. If you're staying in the old wing, you have to walk up and down a fairly steep hill with your luggage, which is inconvenient, especially if you have children or heavy bags. Overall, the location is good, but the **poor communication, booking confusion, room maintenance, cleanliness and lack of basic amenities really affected our stay. I expected better service and organisation from the hotel.
