Excellent stay overall and thank you!

Le Cloitre host Alex was extremely responsive to our requests and questions especially relating to the heating and working out how to use the equipment. We were very much impressed. The apartment is very well equipped with all that you would need for a very comfortable stay in Bayeux and very well-located, only a few minutes from the town centre, the major musees and the Cathedral. Alex had also provided us with numerous pamphlets and reading material on what to do in and around Bayeux.

The host was very well organized and left everything well put together — itinerary, recommendations, etc. Space was spacious and the apartment came with everything you need. Parking space was a plus!

The bed in the master bedroom wasn’t the most comfortable but not much to dislike about the property.

We wanted individual rooms, catering was unimportant, this exceeded our expectations.

Visit was near perfect; had a bit of trouble arranging to collect keys but this was entirely due to my phone and my lack of internet skills. Once my son took over everything was fine. Air conditioning would have made things even better.

We thoroughly enjoyed our week in this lovely apartment in this picturesque city.

We were met at the apartment and taken through the apartment explaining how the dishwasher etc worked. The apartment was tastefully furnished and spacious. The kitchen was well equipped and the bed was comfortable. We had problems with the TV and our host was happy to call in to resolve the problem. The apartment was a short walk into the historic centre of Bayeux.

This was such a nice place. It was an easy to walk to restaurants, Bayeaux Tapestry. Was very easy to communicate with host and very helpful. Got us dinner reservations prior to our visit.

The apt was in a Benedictine Convent turned into a porceline factory turned into apartments. What an amazing history!

Very relaxing stay

The location was great. Easily walkable to the town of Bayeux and all amenities, restaurants, museums. The property was in a safe quiet area and allocated parking on site.

The check-in process on the email instructions before arrival changed on the day we arrived for key collection for the property. As we had no mobile phone reception for France, we could not communicate with the host to gain access on arrival. We waited 30 mins for them to arrive at the property to hand over the keys.

apart from check out issues was excellent

check out was difficult .tried to contact team to sort but email got bounced back . ended up leaving keys where we had collected them . left property at 8am , check out was 10.30am - eventually got an email at 10.57am when we were 100km away in the airport - disappointing

Spacious, new, comfortable quiet and well appointed apartment

The apartment was new and in excellent condition. It was very clean, spacious and comfortable. The apartment is in a very quiet residential area. Great for those who like a quiet place. It would not be appropriate for noisy guests who like to party. Communication was very prompt. The downtown area is within very easy walking distance with many shops, restaurants and bakeries.

A little difficulty in finding the electronic entrance gate from the street. We had to get in touch with the rental company to access our parking space. My only request would be to make the initial process to access the property easier and less stressful.

We loved our Bayeux home away from home. Would highly recommend.

The apartment was beautifully furnished and decorated. The building and grounds were very attractive. The apartment had all the facilities needed to have a comfortable, enjoyable stay. The instructions for all the oven were very helpful! Alex was very pleasant, helpful and always responded quickly. The recommendations in the visitor guide were excellent.
