S and S Chalets - 2 - Mablethorpe

Well equipped chalet. Great location and exactly what we needed with the added bonus of a veranda at the back overlooking a grassed area. A really great place to stay indeed, every little detail was though about.

Slightly dirty in places but easily overlooked and nothing too drastic.

Very nice inside. Nice decking area at the rear. Handy for getting to the beach. Good shower. Comfortable. Pet friendly. Nice quiet place - no noisy people around. Friendly neighbours!

The front door lock was very stiff and we struggled with it. The back door had to be lifted a bit and pulled in quite hard to close it. The microwave didn’t appear to be working.

Nothing I didn't like

Location great, decent facilities, great shower/bathroom, comfortable beds, nice modern chalet, lots of nice thoughtful things like coffee machine and board games/cards. Hosts pleasant through email (did not meet in person).

Not clean enough, someone else’s blueberries on floor near fridge, obviously had been a white or part white dog stay recently plenty of dog hair in the corners and around the edge of the fridge. Someone else’s tank top left in lower bunk bed (binned in kitchen) Pringles lid poking out from under coffee table, wall above sofa dirty. Key very difficult to lock door with kept getting jammed. Patio doors also not well fitting very difficult to get them to shut properly. Hidden charge for bedding not clearly advertised in listing that you have to pay for bedsheets or bring your own.
