Location is great as it is right in the centre next to New Street Station and the Bullring. It was good value as there are two double bedrooms. It is clean and modern. One bedroom is ensuite and there is a separate bathroom with a bath as well. Kitchen seemed well equipped though I barely used it. All toiletries and towels are provided. Beds were comfortable though might be a bit low for some people. Communication was good from the host. The building is secure as you need a fob to enter it. I would stay there again.

The Keys had to be collected from a newsagents nearby. I'm not sure how late they can be collected. If you need parking you will have to find a way to get the keys first and you can't park outside the shop. But you could presumably sort that with the host. Main areas of the building are a bit tired but not too bad.

Unfortunately, Nav forget to send us the instructions from the apartment to the shop to collect the key . Google map shows you the long way around and keep changing the route so it is time consuming but apparently Nav has a video showing that it is only 2 mins away but we didn’t have this information on check in . Also, we double checked that there was bedding for the sofa bed before our visit and was told it would be there - but when we checked in at 10pm the sofa bed bedding was wet in a bag . Smelt stale but was clean .

Location was great and cost was good. Apartment was a good size.

The instructions and key picking up were overly complicated. The parking spot is tiny, not ideal for a big car driver. The building inside is really grubby. The carpets look disgusting with stains, burn marks etc. On the surface the apartment looked ok but realistically is very worn and done cheaply. Furniture feels like temu. Quite dirty in places like kitchen and bathroom. Needs a real deep clean and updating in many areas. Kitchen sink was blocked and kept backing up. Told no one could come and sort it out. Towels were tiny, thin and fraying. They hadn't been dried properly so smelt of mould. Whole apartment had an underlying dirty smell that had been covered up by a ton of freebreeze.
