Aiming high but delivering short.
Great Location, interesting old building, clean and decent sized rooms. Nicely decorated and the coffee machine included was great. Included breakfast at a nearby caffe was excellent with friendly staff.
Property states it has parking but it doesn’t really. You find this out only after you’re done with the booking. You need to find a public parking which was nearly impossible. After making several circles around the block, and even a go to the public garage which was full, we needed to park 10 minutes away on foot and carry some of the stuff to the room with us. While traveling with a baby, this is far from ideal. Furthermore, our room was sharing a locked room door with other guests and we could hear everything they said. The
tv sound as well. It was impossible to sleep so we needed to knock on their door and kindly ask to keep it quiet since we had our baby sleeping. Such poor sound proofing is unacceptable for any accommodation, especially for something that is advertised as 4 star suite. Such a shame for otherwise great accommodation.

Misleading and not a hotel
Central location. Clean and renovated room. Valentina (through Booking messages) was polite, however… (read below regarding customer service).
The room itself:
To clarify - this is NOT a hotel as it’s listed. Is a big apartment split in several small rooms. It has no front desk available in the building.
The room is small, you could barely move around and use your opened luggage. No small desk available to do any quick work on laptop or to station things.
The closest door, an antique one, remains open at all times and because the closet is behind the entrance door, upon arrival, we’d always bump the main door to the closet’s door.
The bathroom is unnecessary huge and it could have easily been split to give more necessary space to the room.
The room’s window is a problem. It faces dhe courtyard and another room’s window so basically we had to stay with curtains closed at all times, making the room almost claustrophobic with zero natural light (even if you choose to open the curtains, there’s still no natural light coming in).
The customer service was a mess!
First, you receive instructions via WhatsApp from an AI chatbot (think ChatGPT). Good luck if you need something afterwards. The chat won’t connect to you a person. It can only give you phone numbers. A mobile one which never answers, and a fix one with limited working hours. Even when you call the fix one, they can’t answer your personalized questions and they have to ask someone to ask someone… since when we lost the hospitality industry to AI?
We forgot something in the room and returned to pick it up about 2 hours after the check out and (after doing a circus to call the customer service) we found out it was thrown away even though it was an unopened package.
Also, our door code wasn’t changed after we checked out making us wonder if the previous guests could have easily walked in when we were still guests…
Parking: we got recommended a parking quite far with the option of -15% off at 22€/day. However, just 50 meters from the room and much much cheaper. Is a public parking at 1€/h only to be paid from 8 am - 8 pm and Sundays is...

Short stay, very pleased with our room and location.
Convenient, spacious room, clean, and management were very helpful, and assisted us with luggage storage, then delivered our bags to our room. Also assisted with taxi to airport.
Instructions to access our room were slightly unclear, finding the elevator was only accomplished with help from a resident in building. Only could access help by management thru messaging.

Relaxing, quiet and beautiful
We absolutely loved the room, the coffee, and the bathroom. It was perfectly quiet, both inside and outside the building. The hallway alone was stunning and left a lasting impression. This wasn’t just a stopover on our trip—it truly became one of the highlights.
The fridge was quite noisy, so we unplugged it overnight. The mattress was very soft, and I felt like I moved every time my partner did, which made me worry about getting a good night's sleep. Surprisingly, we ended up sleeping really well.

Perfetto per una gita a Trieste!
Comodissima come posizione, parcheggi gratis vicino, situata in un palazzo stupendo, calda e accogliente! Macchietta per caffè con cialde, bollitore per acqua !
Nulla tranne che, se avete il sonno leggero portatevi i tappi perché le altre stanze sono vicine e si sente un po’ di voce di chi parla ma come in tutti gli hotel o altri alloggi, non e’ comunque stato un problema perché i vicini erano gente per bene che non ha fatto caos

Ottima scelta a Trieste
All'arrivo non funzionava il riscaldamento in bagno e ci hanno immediatamente cambiato la stanza con una più grande e molto accogliente. Posizione comoda e centrale. Ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo. Ci torneremo!

Un weekend a Trieste
Location in prestigioso palazzo storico, camere spaziose di recente realizzazione dotate anche di piccola cucina, bagno ampio, tutto ben pulito. Sistema di check in semplice ed ingresso con codici numerici. Posizione molto vicina al centro e praticamente sulle rive della città, di fronte alle società veliche.
Nulla, tutto perfetto. Segnalo solo che per un’ottimale utilizzo non guasterebbero due appendini a muro in ingresso per i cappotti che altrimenti vanno messi, poco igienicamente, in armadio. Manca anche un semplice trespolo pieghevole per appoggiare ed aprire la valigia.

Posizione centrale, accogliente
Sophia Boutique Suite si trova in una posizione molto centrale, comoda per raggiungere le principali attrazioni della città. La stanza è accogliente e dotata dei minimi comfort e servizi per un breve soggiorno (macchina del caffè, biscottini, ferro da stiro, mini frigo, armadio). Il bagno dispone di una doccia medio grande, comoda e funzionale e sono disponibili detergenti, crema corpo e kit di bellezza.
Il materasso era molto morbido e non ci ha permesso di riposare. L'ultimo giorno abbiamo visto che il wc perdeva un po d'acqua e abbiamo dedotto che si trattava di un problema preesistente, notando anche tracce di infiltrazioni d'acqua nella parte inferiore della parete della camera, vicino alla porta del bagno. Suggerirei di risolvere il problema e infine di aggiungere anche un balsamo e/o una maschera per i capelli, al kit già presente in bagno.

L'albergo è in posizione semicentrale, a pochi passi dall'enorme parcheggio sul lungo mare (che domenica e nei giorni festivi è gratuito). La posizione è tranquilla, ma a 5 minuti a piedi comincia l'area centrale, piena di ristoranti e negozi. La camera è semplice ma completa di ogni servizio, ideale per un breve soggiorno nella città.

Struttura posizionata nel lungo mare di Trieste in posizione centralissima. Stabile antico con camere ristrutturate, bagno nuovissimo e molto attrezzato. Nella camera era presente il necessario per il tea/caffè e tutti i comfort. Pienamente soddisfatti del nostro soggiorno.

It was a generous size room in a reasonable location. Far bigger than other places I've stayed in Trieste.

The kitchenette was difficult to use as it was badly designed so you couldn't really prepare anything.
The coffee wasn't really kept topped up and there was no milk.
Not enough coat hangers!! Come on, there was a giant wardrobe and only 4 coat hangers. That was quite annoying and basic.

Tuvimos una pésima experiencia con el sistema de entrega de los códigos.
Les comento que a diferencia de la mayoría de los alojamientos, aquí el cliente debe hacerse el check-in vía web. Incluye escanear los pasaporte y todos los datos que habitualmente lo hace el responsable del alojamiento. Esta tarea, para quien está viajando, que dispone de una herramienta bastante limitada como un celular, no es una tarea sencilla.
Luego de cumplir ese requisito y tener la.conformidad de haber enviado el check-in en los plazos que nos exigen, al llegar al alojamiento luego de un viaje de 6 horas, revisamos el mail y no teníamos los códigos para ingresar al edificio ni al apartamento. Llamamos a un número de emergencia y nos atendió una persona que nos hizo responsable de no haber enviado el check-in, cosa que no es correcta y que iban a demorar.
Como resultado de la historia, luego de 3 horas de espera y cuando aún estábamos en la calle con el equipaje y ya había oscurecido, gracias a la buena voluntad de un 'ángel' que pasó por allí y realizó los contractos, pudimos ingrasar a la habitación.
Fue penoso y no lo recomiendo.
