Nous avons aimé la localisation de l'appartement, en plein centre et a proximité immédiate du château et le fait qu'il était très propre..
La chambre parentale est joliment décorée, spacieuse, et le lit est confortable, nous avons très bien dormi.
La cuisine est suffisamment équipée..
La communication avec la propriétaire est très fluide, les consignes sont bien expliquées, l'accès à l'appartement est facile
Bien qu'il y ait une terrasse, elle est à l'ombre la plupart du temps.
La chambre donne sur les quais donc nous entendons parfois les klaxons et les scooters mais il y a du double vitrage qui isole bien du bruit extérieur et la circulation est calme.

The location is top, right in the centre. The apartment is spacious & stylishly set up. Although the bedroom faces a busy road, it was quiet when the windows are closed.
The terrace could be cleaner.. We had to clean the table & chairs before we could use it.
The terrace light switches off automatically after a few minutes, even though we were still sitting outside. We had to get up several times to go into the apartment to switch the light on again & again, which was annoying.
The light in the bathroom was rather dim, especially to put makeup on.

The location is right in the heart of Amboise so it was easy to visit shops and restaurants. The apartment is in a historic building, so it has character and charm, but it has been updated with modern amenities. The apartment is comfortably furnished, and the kitchen had everything we needed. The hosts provided detailed information not just about how things worked in the apartment but also about the area attractions.
There is no dedicated parking, and finding street parking was not always easy. The apartment has two steps between the bathroom and the living area, which wasn't really a problem, but it is a consideration if you need to use the bathroom during the night. There are also two steps from the living area to the shower room, and they are not the same height, which makes it easy to trip. It wasn't a serious problem, but you do need to careful to avoid tripping.
