Great location and would rent again

Wish we could have been met the manager when we checked in. It can be a bit nerve racking when you are traveling in a foreign country and not sure of yourself, but it worked out

Good accommodation for visiting Amboise and the area

Good location for access to the town. Nicely refurbished from an old carpentry workshop. Parking was good to have. It was more comfortable than it looked from the photos and the bedrooms were also nice and comfortable.

Not really a problem but accessing the parking when you first arrive is challenging. You need to pull off the road and position the car ready to pull forward and reverse once you’ve collected the key from the key safe and opened the gate. The road is quite busy and the traffic flow means you have to do it quickly so as not to hold the traffic up too much. Once you’ve done it once it’s not really a problem.

A really lovely conversion of a previously derelict carpenters store into a stylish apartment which was a pleasure to st

this is a really stylish property beautifully refurbished and very comfortable. Despite being on a main road into Amboise it was surprisingly quiet. it is a short walk into town and had good outside space for us to store our bikes, with a small courtyard that caught the sun during the idle of the day. it was also very secure with good off street parking.

the kitchen lacked cupboard space and the work surface was a refurbished carpenters work bench, which looked nice but cannot be effectively wiped down, so we did not cook whilst staying. the parking is a bit tight if you have a larger car.

The house was EXACTLY as shown in the photos, and was spotlessly clean! The owner was always available for communication, was very responsive with all inquiries, and went above and beyond by helping us facilitate the delivery and return of road bikes from an outside company. I would highly recommend this beautiful house! An added bonus was the washer/dryer that was provided.

Not a thing… it was so perfect, that my only regret was that we were not staying longer! There is so much to see and do in that region, and we are disappointed that we did not have time to use the hybrid bikes that were provided.

Loved this property for its proximity to the river and the shops. Literally a five minutes walk. Compact space that offered three bedrooms, two bathrooms that were beautifully appointed. Everything in this property was chosen by someone with great taste. Great little garden at the back which became the coolest place to hang out.

It was pretty perfect so no dislikes at all.

Great location, 5 mins easy walk to centre of town. Clean and comfortable. Secure parking. Warm welcome from the owner and even a bottle of Vouvray chilling in the fridge for us!

Nothing we didn’t like … A bit short of indoor seating in the evening or wet days bearing in mind there are 3 double bedrooms.

Bon séjour à Amboise.

Emplacement top pour découvrir Amboise et la région. (Chambord à 1h, Chenonceau à 20 minutes et à dix minutes à pieds clos Lucé et château royal d’Ambroise) Équipements ok. Une jolie rénovation faite avec soin et beaucoup de goût. Rue piétonne et commerçante à deux pas. Nombreux commerces de bouche à proximité. Agréable de flâner dans Amboise le soir.

Seul petit bémol, la rue passante : piétons et véhicules devant le logement. Pas un gros souci car nous n’étions jamais là. Mais il faut le savoir si vous comptez passer un peu de temps dans l’appartement. Un petit coup de ménage dans le jardin ne serait pas de trop non plus.

On recommande vivement le logement de Grégory et Petulla ! parfaitement situé, d'une extrême propreté, très chaleureux et confortable, doté d'une excellente literie ! Merci à vous de proposer un logement de cette qualité ! Par ailleurs, la visite d'Amboise et de ses environs en cette saison est très sympa, il est particulièrement agréable de visiter les châteaux et les jardins en y étant tout seuls !
