La Maison Siméon

The attention to detail! There was absolutely everything in the house you could possibly need - a home from home! There was room for a huge family or group of friends. Being only two, it was perhaps too much! Although the intense summer heat was over, it was still very hot, but the house was blissfully cool. Also wonderful communication with the owner. Although not in town, there was a wonderful Netto supermarket a few minutes away on foot which made life considerably easier. Something we discovered was the Remi bus from Tours to Chenonceaux - the stop is conveniently a few metres from the house. So a trip to either was extremely easy. In fact, had we known, we wouldn't have taken the train from Tours to Amboise (the station is way out) in our way there, but the bus!

Nothing! The only drawback for us, as "elderly" (!) ladies on foot, was the distance into town - a good 20 minute walk, but nothing too terrible!

Uitstekende ligging

Hele vriendelijke en behulpzame gastvrouw. Grote woning. Alle comfort. Goede ligging.

La maison est confortable et très bien placée à Amboise : le centre ville est à quelques minutes à pied. On peut trouver un Netto très proche et très bien approvisionné. L’emplacement est super pour visiter les châteaux de la Loire.
