Chambres un peu trop mansardées pour les grandes personnes et escaliers en colimaçon pour y accéder un peu étroits si charges en bagages

Excellent location, beautiful view of Saint~Hubert Chapel (burial site of Leonardo da Vinci) and the Royal Chateau in Amboise from the living room. Easy walk to the Chateau and Clos de Luce (where da Vinci died). Central location for many other Loire Chateaux and the Apocalypse tapestry in Angers. Small town, numerous restaurants in walking distance. Air conditioner in the living room kept the apartment cool while France was baking in unexpected heat! Hosts were friendly and responsive. Street and nearby parking made getting around easy. Kitchen was well stocked with equipment and dishes/glassware—and the washing machine was a real plus. Recommend this charming apartment without reservation!

Not used to driving on narrow streets in a mid size vehicle. Rent a smaller car!

The communication from the owners, Cindy and Julien was great. Thank you for allowing us to enter an hour earlier due to the rain. The property was exactly as described and beautiful clean and well presented. So close to everything. Yes, it is small in some parts (as mentioned in some reviews) because it is a loft but this is the charm of the place! We’d book this accommodation again without any hesitation.
