Mill House, Belfast City Centre

A very comfortable and well-equipped house in Belfast, in a great location close to the train station. The washer-dryer worked perfectly, and the kitchen was well equipped, including a good oven. The bathroom was spotlessly clean, and the beds were very comfortable. There are two bedrooms, both with double beds.

The location was great- very close walk to grand central station for our visit to Giants Causeway. Also close to pubs and shopping. We were able to buy some simple groceries nearby.

Outside noise can’t be controlled but I’d recommend bringing earplugs if you’re a light sleeper. Even after closing windows the street noise from people talking/walking by at all hours of the night is enough to wake you up. The floors downstairs looked like they hadn’t been swept recently and the blanket (at the end of the bed on top of the comforter) in the main bedroom had something on it- needs to be washed. Otherwise the place was very clean.

The location is very good, with a short walk to access the station, and bus stops. We walked to the city centre and the shops, its all flat with no hills or stairways.

It was extremely cold, even with the heating on my family and I struggled to keep warm. I cannot imagine what it would be like in January / February. The house also was quite dirty and needs a deep clean - especially the bathroom. Damp and mould everywhere with pipes and radiators covered in dust. We could not use the shower gel in the bathroom as this was locked and the hot water ran out on our final day
