Belfast Quarters 8th Floor Gem!

The property was in a good location with only a short walk in to the city centre to where we picked up the coaches for our tours. Local amenities such as small supermarket, pharmacy, restaurants, cafes and pubs all only a few minutes walk away. The property had good cooking facilities and a good sized table to eat at and play games. It also had a good sized TV which had a variety of channels available.

The seating area to watch TV was not the biggest and you would struggle to seat any more than 3 adults. Some more basic essentials in the kitchen would be better for those just staying for a few days such as washing up liquid, wash brush, kitchen cloths, salt and pepper etc. Finally, the hot weather which was gorgeous allowed us to open the doors to the balcony and the bedroom windows however the regular smell of cannabis from nearby apartments made us have to shut them which was a real downside.

Fantastic stay, beautiful and immaculate apartment. Perfect location.

To clarify, we did not stay at Belfast Quarters 8. The apartment was cancelled by management one day before arrival, while I was travelling from Singapore for my daughter’s university graduation. An alternative at Belfast Whitehall was offered, and we accepted it as a swap, given the short notice. However, during the graduation ceremony, management insisted that I make immediate payment by end of the day ,treating it as a new booking rather than a swap, which caused unnecessary stress and disruption. As for Belfast Whitehall, the surrounding area is dirty and rundown. While the apartment itself was acceptable, the mattress was extremely uncomfortable, an issue that other guests have reportedly raised for months without resolution.
