Chatsworth Cottage

Well equipped house, it was hot when we were there so the fans were very helpful.

The house was lovely - clean, nicely decorated and comfortable with a well equipped kitchen. The location was very convenient, we were able to walk from the train station on arrival and the walk into the centre of Harrogate was around 15 minutes. Communication from the host was excellent.

Large property with plenty of space. Clean and tidy, modern aesthetic, very comfy and cozy.

1 bathroom which was shared between 5 people which became difficult. Not a reflection on the property just something worth considering for people booking in the future and how to plan bathroom access for larger groups

It's a lovely peaceful house, tastefully decorated, with space to decompress and just relax - just what was needed in the middle of a long drive We used the bedrooms on the middle not top floor, top floor was too hot for us, for an overnight stay on a very hot day and slept absolutely soundly. lovely breeze coming through the single bedroom window at the back and the fan from the 3rd floor brought down to the front bedroom. Bedding is white cotton and clean, smelling of washing powder not darn 'fabreeze' type smell! Living room was lovely, calm, comfortable with view of gorgeous rockery in front. Kitchen was spacious and again a lovely breeze through from the back all all through the downstairs rooms. The back garden is very well kept and looked very pretty from the kitchen window, filled with beautiful flowers, we didn't use the outside space, it's quite open and I like to be hidden in my garden! All info needed was provided and clear, correspondence was smooth. The house is very well equipped with household bits and pieces - I needed some pegs and an airer and found these, pots and pans are readily supplied, clean and plentiful. For those who like treats on arrival there was a generous supply of crisps, choccy, fizz, hot choc and tea bags etc. We quickly devoured the crisps - thank you x

It's not a 'didn't like' it was just a little misunderstanding by me - reading the reviews I hadn't realised how busy the street could be for parking - I carry a lot of 'stuff' when I travel that I need to get in and out of the car. We arrived at teatime and the street was busy for parking. I parked just up the street initially, only 100yds away, and then as a space came up was able to park almost directly in front of the house which greatly eased leaving in the morning.
