Uma Raos Cottage

Beautiful villas and rooms. Scenery was incredible and good selection of food and drinks for restaurant. They provided us with new water bottles each day which was super nice.

Doors were a bit faulty, it would take two of us to lock them, and they still gapped a bit. Open window in bathroom and gapped doors led to a lot of mosquito bites. We had requested a mosquito net and had to ask multiple times for them to forget and not be able to put it up because the male staff had left. Once it did get up it was way too small for the bed to be effective. They ended up giving us spray for the room, but I would recommend bringing your own net if you stay here. Curtains were translucent so lots of beautiful light, but if you’re planning to sleep in bring an eye mask.

WiFi is slow. No TV. Location is inconvenient and difficult to find for taxis

The pool is nice. Although, it was very dark and wasn't lit after it got dark in the evening.

Staff wasn't very nice. Room wasn't ready when I came. They chanhed the sheets but the floors and other surfaces weren't clean. Couldn't lock the door. stayed here because the pictures and old reviews promised a serene and quiet corner with kind staff but it wasn't quiet at all (construction noise, loud banging; the roosters and ceremony drums I don't mind). When I was checking out and still had time before checkout someone came and asked me if I'm staying or if I'm leaving, so I felt like was thrown out of there. I even had to check if I booked the right place. There's more accurate reviews on Google.
