Junjungan hotel was absolutely amazing. The view from the room of the rice fields were stunning and started the day off right each time. The breakfast at this hotel was soooo good. The fried rice and banana pancakes were delicious. The staff was so accommodating and professional it made for an amazing first experience to Bali. The front desk, house keeping, and the entire staff were so kind such a loving and beautiful staff. I will highly recommend this hotel to all my friends back home, and I will definitely be returning again here soon. The location of this hotel is not far from the rice fields and is a short drive to other locations. Cafes and food options are in walking distance as well. My stay here was perfect thanks you for everything Junjungan.

Quiet, Comfy Stay right outside downtown Ubud

The staff at this hotel were very kind and super helpful. It is a beautiful hotel with a great view. The rooms offered some great amenities, all while the hotel remained super simple. It is a great place to stay if you're looking for something close to downtown Ubud but quiet and rather small. The bed were very comfy as well.

The rooms are a little dated, but that depends on personal preference. The rooms were pretty clean, although the bathrooms could use more attention like the shower curtains.

The staff are all really helpful, welcoming and made our stay. Very professional. You cannot get better. Really nice choice of breakfasts, best pancakes ever! Great views. Having a return shuttle once a day at your specified times to Ubud centre. Would definitely stay again and recommended.

A peaceful and homey retreat with amazing staff, stunning views, and delicious Indonesian food.

As a solo traveler, I was looking for a safe and comfortable place to stay. After spending a month here, I extended for another—it truly felt like home. The staff was incredibly kind, treating me like family. Every morning, they brought me coffee on the terrace so I could enjoy the stunning view of the rice fields. The location is peaceful, surrounded by lush greenery, yet even during the rainy season, there were no mosquitoes or bugs. The free shuttle service was a great help, taking me to the town center and sometimes even to nearby towns. I especially loved the cozy alcove above the bed, which blocked the direct cold air from the AC—keeping the room cool all night without sleeping directly under it. And their food? Absolutely delicious! Make sure to try the traditional Indonesian dishes.

bath wasn’t clean, I mentioned a few times to staff and asked how the clean as the grime was very visible. I even demonstrated to two members of staff that there was grime and scrubbed it to show them it needs to be cleaned properly. location is quite far from market but the shuttle bus was a life saver however it was frequently late when it rained - I was left waiting over half an hour 3 times.

quiet and comfortable room overlooking padi field. staff are very friendly and helpful. Feel warm as there is handwritten welcoming postcard place on table. room is very comfortable, cooling enough with fan, I sometimes not even turn on the aircon. afternoon tea is simple with local food, very delicious. there is free shuttle to and from Ubud Palace upon request. some eateries nearby the hotel within walking distance. a good place for quiet time. Spa is nice.

Beautiful stay with amazing service and surroundings

The staff is super friendly, classic Balinese hospitality and we're just so glad to have stayed at this hotel. The property is beautiful and really clean, the room is gorgeous with rice field views. Everything just works great for us and the breakfast is wonderful as well. You can rent bikes for free and just ride around the area, super lovely village with local houses and temples plus rice fields. Overall, it a really good stay and would recommend it to anyone.
