I had a great experience staying at this hotel. The room was very clean, bright, and comfortable, with everything I needed. The hotel itself is well-located and has a pleasant atmosphere. The location is perfect—just a 5 to 8 minute bike ride from the centre of Ubud, close enough to everything but still nice and quiet. There’s a convenience store only a couple of minutes’ walk away, which made it really easy to grab snacks or water. The staff were amazing, and the rooms were cleaned everyday with fresh, clean towels always provided.

Wish I could stay longer!

Everything was amazing! Loved the room. Everything was super clean and modern. The bed was super comfy, TV is huge and absolutely loved the little sofa nook next to the window! Air con was good, towels provided as well as toiletries, kettle, complimentary water, etc. Really felt at home. Tried to extend but were fully booked, otherwise would have stayed even longer!

Only complaint is wifi - drops in and out quite frequently, but I was in the furthest room so maybe that was why! Lots of mosquitos but that’s expected in Bali.

Relaxing & Serene Stay Near Ubud City Center

I had a lovely stay at Chandi Hotel Ubud. The atmosphere is calm and serene, yet it’s conveniently located—just about a 20-minute walk to Ubud City Center. The staff were warm, friendly, and always willing to help, which made the stay even more enjoyable. The breakfast was good with a nice selection. My room was comfortable and well-equipped, with useful amenities like a blow dryer and a mini fridge. There’s also a Circle K just around the corner, which was super convenient for quick snacks and essentials. Overall, a peaceful place to unwind while still being close to everything in Ubud.

One thing to note is the bathroom layout—it’s a bit unusual, as you have to walk through the shower area to get to the toilet. Not a dealbreaker, but something guests might want to be aware of.

This hotel is absolutely wonderful.

This hotel is absolutely wonderful. The rooms are clean, the bedding is spotless. The rooms look exactly like the photos, so you can book with confidence. The staff are incredibly lovely and friendly. I truly felt valued and cared for during my stay. The location is perfect, just a 5-minute scooter ride from Ubud center. Amazing! I will definitely choose this hotel again next time. Highly recommended

Recommended if you don't mind noise

Nice bathroom amenities, mini fridge and food sized. The staff is helpful and quick to respond. My friend had bed bug bites after a night sleep and the staff dealt with it swiftly by moving her to another room. The room rate was low when I booked so really good value. The pool water is warm and lovely.

The rooms are not sound proof and one can easily hear the sound from outside. Dogs were barking like mad in most evenings.

Value for money! Great location and great service. It's quiet and near the city centre, exactly what I was looking for. The room is perfectly lay outed with a mini terrace and access to the pool. Fast internet and the amenities are thoughtful arranged.

Very clean room, spacious, close to the center of the town, very good price with breakfast included. You can find a scooter rental across the street, and in the evening you can stay outside, they have a covered big table.

Very good hotel!

"A wonderful place to stay! The à la carte breakfast was delicious with plenty of options, and the beds were super comfortable. The surroundings are just magical – so peaceful, with only the sound of birds in the morning. The pool area with sunbeds and beanbags was perfect for relaxing. It’s about a 20-minute walk to the center of Ubud, but absolutely worth it. Great value for money!

Everything, I stayed in the room behind the reception and it was perfect, the shower is a huge plus with strong pressure. Beds comfortable. The pool is really nice and everyday they are cleaning around if you willing.

It is a hotel i choose to repeat staying at when going to Ubud for work.

The location is easy to reach especially by bike. It is near the center of town but also far enough to avoid noise and traffic. The small size of the hotel is also a plus so going in and out of it is really convenient. Thirdly there is a very convenient bike rental across the hotel.

It is a little of a detour to make when reaching the hotel by car. The area around it - like so many other areas in bali - is difficult to walk as there is no path and quite dark at night.

Brilliant place

Loved the property, very new, very clean, beautiful pool. Staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, gave us an early check in and then again when we had to move rooms (due to our own late booking) they let us check out late of our initial room and then check in early to the next room so we didn’t have to wait at all. Great value for money, couldn’t recommend this place enough.

This hotel is a great, fresh, modern and clean hotel. We absolutely loved our room. The staff were so helpful throughout our stay. Our room was spotless, clean white bed sheets and comfortable bed. The location was ideal for us as we hired a ped into the main area of Ubud. There is a mini mart right near the hotel for any essentials.

Wasn’t a problem for us but unless you hire a ped or book a grab then it is a half hour walk nearly down to the main centre.

Friendly staff, everything was perfect, the villa was very clean and cosy. We also stayed in the rooms and they were perfect. Beautiful and relax swimming-pool. Really good breakfast.

Wonderful staff, great facilities and close to some amazing cafe options.

The staff here are AMAZING. So kind & helpful. The pool was lovely and the rooms clean and well equipped. It is also right next door to Made Banana Flour Cafe, a Circle K & Muse cafe. Both cafes were very good! Only a short 5 minute bike journey into town.

The shower did not drain properly so ended up being a bit stinky.
