Really terrific little place near the beach.
The neighborhood is fantastic. Convenient to downtown, convenient to transit.
I don't know how to use an air fryer, so I could only prepare food in the microwave

The location was great and the price was right. The beds worked great for us, and we were warm enough not to use the heat. The dehumidifier was loud so we turned it off, and I apologize for forgetting to turn it back on when we left. We loved it that you had lots of hangers in the closet space to hang our clothes, and all the coat hooks. There were a few parts that would have been nice to change but overall the place was totally satisfactory for us.
We really didn't like the little plastic teakettle. A larger metal or ceramic one would have been great. There is very little "kitchen" space there so having the air fryer out on the counter seemed unnecessary and bulky. There were only 2 spoons (only silverware we used)-- one tiny and one large. That was awkward. And the drawer space was all taken up by bedding so there was no place to keep our things except in our luggage which we were constantly tripping over. The directions about parking were really confusing, especially since you can't turn on York St from the corner where the apartment was located, the neighborhood is full of do not enter and one-way streets, and York is a street, not an alley, so it took us quite a while to figure that out. It would be nice to let guests know that the 2 hour parking is just across the street so they don't have to go hunting for it.

The apartment is located in a lovely, quiet residential street, but only a short walking distance from main shopping/dining streets and the beach. Also, only a short drive or bus ride from downtown. The False Creek Ferry, from Kitsilano Beach to downtown is also only a short walk away.
The bed mattress needs to be upgraded. It was more of a futon than a proper mattress. But we managed and it a cozy space.
