    The hotel is very safe, in an excellent location (walking distance from many attractions, and on the beach), and very clean. It is an older building and is not fancy, but is definitely worth the money and is an excellent budget choice.

    I brought my son to vancouver to celebrate his 14th birthday. We wanted a hotel that was local to food and sights which are accessible from the hotel. Unfortunately that was the only good thing about this hotel. Our room was suoer spacious but had a very strong stale smell. The hotel itself seems quite run down with cracks and holes, water stains, and repairs that have not been finished. The windows dont even have screens and we were greeted with a spider upon arrival into our room. This hotel could be really nice but a LOT of work needs to be put into it.

    Great area, but this is probably the worst hotel I've stayed in. Think circa 1960's hotel that hasn't had a dollar spent on it since. If all you need is a bed, this is for you. Nothing else good about the hotel other than a good location.

    The location is perfect with reliable Wi Fi and consistent hot water. However, the cleanliness and housekeeping left much to be desired and the facilities were lacking with amenities that were so old and not being accessible. The staff was friendly and helpful, but the value for money felt a bit off given these drawbacks.
