I've stayed here several times and it's always been great. It's quirky, quite vintage, but for the price it's the best in the area. Views over English Bay, always quiet despite being in the heart of everything there, very helpful staff and secure, gated parking with 24hr access. It is slightly dated, especially with the ovens supplied (2 stove tops didn't work and I stayed in a few different rooms and each room had different applicances or kitchen gadgets), however - again - for the price I would highly recommend as if I needed anything and asked they would always really try and help.
Some stains on mattresses and dated appliances and building, but for the cost it's for sure worth it.

The location is perfect. Very accessible.
There was a bit of an issue with the toilet flush. It was faulty at first water keeps flowing but then it was ok. Maybe the maintenance need to do some check.

Some wall electrical sockets not working
Shower gel at least

The space in the room. Three beds.
Cleanliness. The room was stinking. Wifi did not connect most of the time. The bathtub had hair and was not cleaned properly. Response from the folks to resolve the same was quite dull.

The location was amazing. A block or so to the water. Lots of restaurants and bars in very close proximity. Lots of food and coffee options, along with a grocery store and drug store a few blocks away.

Nothing.
Run-down place/room/bathroom/kitchen. Cleanliness - bad. Had to traverse a hazardous/dangerous area from the garage to the hotel lobby.

The property was only for one night so we knew it was a cheaper hotel. It was a good nights sleep and good location. For a cheap hotel it was great. They stored our luggage for the day.
The lift smelt terrible like very musty or damp. The room had a similar smell. Everything else good otherwise

Comfortable, great location, noisy at front side of building. Had all you needed even though could do with updating. Very tired looking, staff friendly. Would recommend.
Noisy at front of building

Location is near Stanley Park, beach and convenient to bus and water taxi.
The hallways are dirty. Waiting area is dirty. Rooms were ok. Bed linens were clean. Window air conditioning was noisy, although it did drown out the drunk party people in the street.

The room was big enough for 2 people with a well-equipped kitchenette, well cleaned as much as possible. The bathroom had a bathtub and was quite big, equipped with the necessary materials. The internet worked well. The staff is friendly and helpful to the hotel guests. For example, they gave us more hangers, as we needed them. The location is very good.
The management and organization of work are not at the required level. Cleaning is only on request, but even if it is given, the garbage is thrown out and the used towels are changed. Since our stay was 9 nights, we asked for the sheets on the beds to be changed. It was strange that the pillowcases were not changed since we did not ask for such a service. The dust and the floor, which is covered with carpet, were not cleaned once. The bathtub and sinks were not cleaned during our entire stay. The mattresses are uncomfortable, the furniture is old. Hotel needs renovation.

Nice staff.
Staff works hard to clean the space which is evident from the smell of cleaning chemicals. But they can only do so much.
Rugs have seen too much!
Rooms are old.

Room was cleaned and had air conditioning. Right beside a lot of nice restaurants and main bus routes. Came with a kitchenette. They let us leave our bags before check in
There was a very irritating buzzing sound throughout the entire building, except when we were in our room. (thank god). Wasn't a super well taken care of building, wouldn't say it was worth the $275 we spent after taxes

Best sleep I had in a long time, The shower had so much heat and power did not want to leave it.
Small things. T.V. was not a smart T.V. and had to watch cable. But they had good internet so I just used my computer. Shower was the best but they had smaller towles not for bigger poeple but they had a lot of them . Over all 9.5/ 10

As long as you lower your expectations, you will not be disappointed :o) It is an OLD building, apartments converted to hotel rooms. I think some of the kitchen appliances may be original (LOL!) But - you can't beat the location and the price is much lower than surrounding hotels. There is a parking garage under the building ($25.00 per night, 1st come 1st serve - no reservations allowed), but if you have a large vehicle - don't even try it! Overall, the location made the stay worth it.
Very old, outdated rooms. Maybe one of the four burners on our stove worked, kind of (?) Funky older building smells, worn bedspreads, carpet, towels. I would have liked to have been able to reserve parking ahead of time.

Location, laundry facilities, clean towels and
The dirty carpet, (I wouldn’t walk on the carpet in our room without shoes on it felt really dirty) the smell of the room, the bird sh..t on the window, the fact that they take credit card details for any damage and when we got to the room the kitchen chairs were in disrepair and the toaster barely worked.

The area was convenient to public transportation and the beach was nice and coffee shops
The tub was very slippery when wet, and the floors seemed dirty and the walls need paint and window not operable

Room was decent size but old facility.
Big issue was parking. Our rental car was TOO big for their $25 a day first come first parked service. We had to use public parking across the street which was always full. Very inconvenient

We love this location and have had a better experience at this hotel in the past.
1) the room was not well kept.. the walls in the bathroom were dirty
2) the worst part... I'm almost certain the attendant that checked us in stole my credit card information. I never physically hand my card to anyone anymore. I always tap to pay. However, the attendant insisted on taking my card and writing down the info. Several hours later my credit card company flagged several suspicious charges. I ended up having to cancel the card in the middle of our trip.

It’s accessible for public transit
The room we booked is not the same as the pictures. ITS A HEALTH HAZARD due to the rug it’s very dark and has a smell, specially in the hallways.
When I first entered the room my skin just started flaring up and having some rashes. It’s so itchy and my asthma is triggering

7.0 / 10.0
It’s location, being near to English Bay, Stanley Park and Robson St. There’s lots of restaurants and grocery shops nearby. I like that our room has a functional kitchen with complete cooking tools and dishwash soap with sponge.
The place is run down and needs renovation, smells off in the elevator and the carpet’s old and smelly. We’ve seen cockroach from the parking going up to the reception.
5.0 / 10.0
The locations is EXCELLENT as it is right net to seawall and Stanley Park. Lots of places to hike & bike.
Has a large well-stocked kitchen and bathroom. with comfortable beds, lots of coffee fixings and they also provided free coffee in lobby. I liked the on-site parking convenience, which while we paid extra for , was worth it as the neighborhood is very crowded.
The price.

N/A re breakfast. Great location with great breakfast café nearby. Really pleasant, helpful staff, accommodating and interested in client care
While we were very grateful to be able to add an extra night on short notice, the additional night was spent in a room that was a little below par in comparison to the one of the original booking.

Unusual. Apt made into a hotel. Not your norm, but clean and safe and comfortable. Location wonderful.

Location was great. Handy to Stanley Park and plenty of places to eat. Easy uber to CBD. Clean.
Hotel is very old and run down. Carpets stained and furniture threadbare. Sheets had a hole in them! Bath/shower difficult to operate.

Pricy, dirty, old building with lots of traffic noises. Found a dead mouse on the floor after waking up in the morning!

The location was great and the staff were good.
The room was disgusting, there was a silver fish bug crawling across the carpet. The room stunk and there was dirty underwear and socks in one of the dresser drawers. I was afraid to shower and we slept in our clothes with shoes on, on top of the bedding.
There was weird bleach stains all over the carpets throughout the building. The key to the underground parking didn’t work and we were stuck on a 75° angle in our car until someone could come open the gate. The drive down was so narrow we couldn’t open our doors in our car, so we just had to wait.
A little paint and new fixtures would go a long way.

Super value for Vancouver
