Brief 2 night stay

Location was good. Room was spotlessly clean. Bed very comfortable and excellent bedding made it a joy to sleep in. Hosts are warm and friendly and genuinely interested in their guests. All the 'quirks' of this property were fully explained in the confirmation email, so we knew what to expect.

No plug for the bath...we looked everywhere, we did find one but it did not fit. Not being able to use kitchenette before 7am or after 10pm felt quite restrictive.

Great stay, highly recommend!

I had a great time at Linda and Jenny’s home, they were very kind and approachable. The room was clean, and breakfast included everything as described. I felt safe as a female solo traveller in the neighbourhood area and will gladly come back in the future.

Very nice host, location, house and bedroom, good comfort, could use a few more touches.

Linda was friendly, responsive and available to answer any questions, the house was very clean and neat. The bed was very comfortable. The location was perfect for what I needed.

No plug for the tub, the tap in the bathroom sink was too short for the sink, wifi inconsistent, cold breakfast was sparse, thermostat wasn't very responsive.

Excellent for independent travellers.

It was in a quiet neighbourhood and was easy to get to and from the downtown Vancouver area. The house is well maintained, clean and neat. Bed was comfortable and I had absolute privacy. The host Linda was friendly and helpful. I would stay here again.

Linda and Jenny were so welcoming and helpful. The location was perfect as it was quiet and walking distance to the beach and cafes. The breakfasts were delicious and healthy and the room and home were incredibly clean.

Linda & Jenny were excellent hosts. The morning breakfasts were healthy & homemade. Staying at this B&B felt like a home away from home. I loved that the property was on a quiet street & centrally located to places I wanted to go to. Staying at Linda & Jenny’s B&B was extremely pleasant & I would highly recommend it to anyone needing a place to stay while they’re in Vancouver.

The only negative was the street closure while very we’re staying there. We needed to park on a side street during the week; however, the closures were due to the city of Vancouver. Very minor & if did not effect our stay.

Lovely accommodations and hosts

The B&B is located in a lovely residential area close enough to shopping and restaurants that we walked, although others might find the distance better suited to a quick car ride. The accommodation itself was spotless and the hosts were lovely and accommodating, providing a delicious, hot breakfast (accommodating vegetarian and non-dairy) each morning. We could not have asked for more.

Warm hospitality and spotless comfort – a true home away from home

This recently built, modern house is located in a quiet residential area just outside the city centre. You can leave your car parked on the street (for free!) and take the bus to the city centre – you’ll be at Canada Place in about 30 minutes. The room – and the entire house – is impeccably clean, perhaps thanks to the “no outdoor shoes indoors” policy. The room is tastefully and neatly decorated, and we really loved the style. There’s a shared kitchenette available for guests, though we didn’t use it much during our stay. Linda and her family are wonderfully warm and welcoming, always ready with tips and advice to help you make the most of your visit. The delicious breakfast is different every day and served at a large dining table, where guests can enjoy friendly conversation – with Linda happily joining in. This was, without a doubt, the very best accommodation we stayed in during our three-week road trip!

For us, it was no issue at all, but it’s worth noting that there are a few house rules to follow, since the property is also Linda and her family’s home (and not just a guesthouse). These rules are clearly communicated right after booking, so you know exactly what to expect.

A lovely place to stay - not a typical bed and breakfast

The property is immaculate, clean, and recently built. The hosts were kind and offered tips on things to see and do, and prepared a delicious breakfast each morning. The room included a full bath and was very comfortable and private. The location is not central, but there are convenient buses - we were able to get everywhere we wanted by foot or by bus. Overall, we had a lovely and very comfortable stay.

To those who are looking for "old-timey" bed and breakfasts that really function as a hotel that's been handed over to guests - think shared living room space, garden seating, wine hour, etc., this is not it. As the hosts clearly explain to people who make a reservation, it's their home. While the downstairs has an area that I think guests could use, it really felt like the upstairs room was our space, and the downstairs was the hosts' space (and they use the space for piano and other lessons). As a result, we didn't really spend any time in the common areas, apart from breakfast. There's a no-shoes policy, as well as silence (including no showers or microwave) 10pm-7am.

The owner and her family were very interesting, engaging and hospitable which is the primary goal we have in staying at B &Bs. Also, breakfasts were excellent.

While the bedrooms are clean, well organized and well maintained, there are limited options outside the bedroom to stay and relax in the home.

A very enjoyable stay

Very welcoming hosts and a very comfortable room. The shared kitchenette was very useful too. Very convenient for bus services into the city. Perfect for our needs. Breakfast was good but was prescriptive (little choice) which might be an issue to some people. Free parking in the street should not be an issue

This place is amazing!

Wonderful place! Friendly and clean and super comfortable. They accomdate your breakfast needs and preferences. Breakfast is amazing. They even have shower gel, shampoo and conditioner to use. They even let us check our bags early because we arrived much earlier than our check in time.

Breakfast was very tasty, staff are lovely, neighbourhood is beautiful and location is great. Rooms have a great view and are clean. There's a handy little kitchenette and selection of coffee/tea. It was also nice to meet other travellers during breakfast.

Relaxing and comfortable stay just out of town.

A delicious cooked breakfast was provided each morning which set us up for the day. The host (Linda) was charming and was happy to chat and offer advice on trips etc. The accommodation is just out of town but well placed with on street parking. A short drive from the airport. The room was immaculately presented and we would definitely stay again.

I had come to Vancouver to visit my granddaughter and she lives chose to this location.

The convenience of access to the breakfast food and coffee on the landing to the rooms. My stay was during the low season and I happened to be the only visitor. I believe that it would still have been very pleasant even with other guests. A nice feature is that the host provides guests with a Compass card. This proved to be extremely useful, not to have to worry about paying cash on public transit or buying daily use cards. I only had to reimburse the host for my usage of the card while I was there.

Linda is a gracious host with a friendly and calm demeanour who serves a nutritious and delicious breakfast. The B&B is quiet and comfortable with an excellent ensuite bathroom and a spacious bedroom. The location is very central.

If I had any concern regarding our stay it was with the breakfast. The breakfast was determined by the hosts each morning. That was my only concern, that we weren't asked what we would like to eat.

Just the lack of consultation with us regarding breakfast.
