The room was nice and spacious and the bathroom and kitchenette were nice.
The kitchen and bathroom were not private as stated because we heard the person staying across the hall use the kitchen and bathroom when we were in our room. Also we wanted to have a couple of friends over for dinner and the landlord was kind of rude in the way she kicked them out saying max 2 people but it only said 2 people can stay there. Rules didn't say people couldn't come over. Anyway, she could have been polite about it.

Very nice renovation — everything is clean and thoughtfully arranged (for example: a hair dryer, shampoo, shower gel, conditioner, slippers, and towels). There is also a coffee machine with capsules, and everything was new.
The kitchen is shared and located near the room, so you can hear absolutely everything happening there. The neighbors often don’t respect early hours and were noisy from 5:30 AM, talking loudly on video calls.
The bathroom is private for you, but it’s on the same floor — close, though not inside the room.
The doors are very thin, and you can hear everything that was happening in the house.

Close to home slice cafe and bakery. Henry was great. At 5335 west boulevard vancouver.
The stairs to front door ie 13? And stairs to room 14. No grab rail for shower. Very unsafe for older person. Plus bathroom outside room in common area.
