La Moretta Apartment

The instructions of where to find the apartment were clear. The location was very good. Easily accessible by waterboat (stop Riva de Biasio) and about a 20 minute walk to San Marco. The apartment was clean and had everything we needed. The bed was comfortable although the pillows were so thin it was uncomfortable. Overall it was a fine stay.

The pillows were so thin it was like laying flat on a bed without a pillow. Very uncomfortable. I wish there was a second pillow available. There was also mold in the air-conditioning which gave it a nasty smell (and a little bit mold in the shower). Opening a window didn't help, because then you smelled the waste odor of Venice. Just keep that in mind.

Trevlig liten lägenhet med det mesta man behöver. Lugnt område och nära till tågstation och busstation. Låg även nära vaporetto (hållplats för båtkollektivtrafik). Kan tänka mig att hyra den igen.

Lite för hård säng för min smak.

Lage hervorragend, keine 10 Minuten vom Bahnhof entfernt. Den Bahnhof kann man als guten Ausgangspunkt sehen für das Erreichen von den Stadtteilen Cannaregio und Dorsuduro. Einige Bars und Restaurants gleich ums Eck. Gastgeber haben wir nie persönlich getroffen aber sehr netten Kontakt gehabt. Appartment ist vollständig und nett eingerichtet, eine, für Venedig, sehr preiswürdige Unterkunft.

The apartment was cozy, peaceful, and very complete. It was very nice to walk in and find a thoughtful collection of snacks and drinks waiting for me. A great location depends on what you are looking for. I gave this location a 10 because it’s 5 minutes from the train station and Piazzale Roma, and 10 minutes from the Rialto Bridge. Also because it’s in a quaint area of Venice (looking out its kitchen window makes you think you may be out in a farm somewhere else) and it’s away from the flow of tourists.
