The cottage is beautifully furnished and very clean, everything you could want and within walking distance to pubs, restaurants and a shop. The host was lovely and very helpful

It was difficult to get much on the tv, I’m guessing reception wasn’t good, if you have Netflix, prime etc bring your login details

Amazing overnight stay, so close to Alton Towers. 10/10

What a lovely hidden gem of a property. Open plan living area downstairs with a bathroom, table/chairs, well stocked (equipment wise) kitchen and 2 comfortable sofas to relax and watch the tv. Upstairs is 2 spacious, yet cosy, bedrooms and another bathroom. Both bedrooms are well decorated and a perfect space to head off to for sleep. Communication from the hosts was excellent too.

Fabulous! We will stay again!

The property was clean and tidy with everything you need. We went to Alton Towers for 2 days and stayed here In between, the check in was easy, which was such a relief as it was pouring with rain and we were all soaked through. The cottage was inviting and cosy and the heating fired up immediately so we were all warm and dry in no time at all. We all slept well and checking out was easy also. Logs aren’t included for the fire, so we brought our own and the owner was fine with that.

Beautiful cottage, ideally located but needs new mattresses and pillows.

Absolutely beautiful. Clean and had everything we needed apart from a bread knife. Host contacted us in the morning of check in with instructions and a map of how to get there. They even reserved a car park space for us which was big enough for a mini bus. The cottage was clean, heating was easy to use and had a log fire 🔥. Had two showers which was fab so not to wake the kids. Had a dishwasher and a tablet. Also essential in the kitchen and bathroom- except the bread knife 😀. Check out could have been extended if we asked prior to check in. Cottage is a walk to the local shop and pubs which I recommend. Also a public footbath next to the cottage for a evening stroll. The food at the Talbot was out of this world and great value for money.

Unfortunately I couldn't get much sleep as the bed we had was rock hard. I mean it was literally like sleeping on pallets of wood. The pillows were no better, they were as flat as envelopes and need throwing away really. This was disappointing as the rest of the cottage.

The cottage was fabulous. Beautifully furnished. Everywhere was spotlessly clean. It had everything you could possibly need for a stay away from home, and the location was brilliant. The communication from the owner was super friendly and helpful and we would definitely stay again. Highly recommend Honeysuckle Cottage.

Great stay

The cottage was beautiful, it had everything we needed and was very close to Alton Towers. Everything was clean and well presented with really comfy beds. We had a small issue when we arrived, I contacted the host and they resolved it immediately, they were so lovely.

There was nothing to dislike - such a lovely property.

Area near by ramberlers retreat

Beds uncomfortable no sleep,overlooked at back property, tumble dryer broken knob, washing machine was smelly draw was disgusting inside,shower tray was uneven ,awful smell sewerage, laundry room and down stairs bathroom, I do think their is a blockage, cleanliness wasn't great .

Perfect cottage stay.

We booked a one night stay for a weekend visit to Alton Towers and were ideally located just a short drive away from the theme park. The cottage was perfect; clean comfortable and very well appointed with everything you could need. Communication with the owner was friendly and helpful and self check-in worked perfectly. Highly recommend this cottage.

Idealy for Alton Towers Visit, very clean and comfy

The layout of the house was lovely, very clean and a safe play areas for the kids. Shop nearby. We visited Alton Towers and that was just 10mins from the park which was ideal.

Nothing really, we stayed on a really hot day and the bedrooms are upstairs and even with the windows open it was a little hot. That said 95% of the year that really wouldn't matter. Can i suggest a what3words address for the property too.

Beautiful Cottage, everything you need.

The cottage is stunning , the facilities are superb, there is everything you need whilst you are staying there , dishwasher tablets, washing up liquid etc . The hosts go above what you normally get . The bedrooms and beds are really comfortable and the sofas are just so lovely. Parking is available on site. The water pressure for the showers is brilliant and there are TV's in the bedrooms .The kitchen is well equipped with a large fridge and freezer , washing machine and tumble Dryer (a big plus as we got soaked at Alton Towers ). The cottage is a bout a 10 minute drive from Alton Towers and the village is lovely. We would stay here again without a doubt.
