This property exceeded our expectations, we enjoyed our stay very much.

The Cottage is absolutely beautiful and furnished to a high standard. Each room was fully equipped with everything that you could possibly need. Great communication with the host before and during our stay with prompt responses to any questions raised. Clear instructions how to find, park and enter the property with further instructions inside for the heating etc. We highly recommend this property.

The extractor fan in the downstairs shower room was very noisy and ran for a long time. This was an issue with the children in bed in the twin room above that woke them up.

Fantastic location, brilliant host and immaculate facilities.

Perfect location for anyone planning a trip to Alton Towers. There's plenty to see and do in the area. The cottage was immaculate and much bigger than we expected! The kitchen is incredible, there's a spacious lounge with a huge TV and very comfortable sofas. The bedrooms are perfect, it felt very homely. The upstairs bathroom is stunning and proved very handy to have a smaller toilet with shower downstairs. This place has everything you would need for a family break or an adventure away with friends. It's also lovely and quiet, just what you need for a get away. Check-in was so simple and efficient, as was checking out. Safe to say we'll be back.

Beautiful home with a beautiful interior and private parking close to alton towers

Property has its own private parking in a gated off area, the property has a beautiful kitchen and an amazingly spacious living room and also has a very clean bathroom and shower room.

The drainage of the sinks and showers were a bit slow to drain which meant you were getting a bath out of a shower.

I loved everything about this property. It was beautifully decorated, catered for everything you could think of, the beds were comfortable and it was located in a quiet cul-de-sac. My children called it "luxury"! It's a fantastic location if you're planning on visiting Alton Towers, like we did.

Gorgeous home and wonderful host!

Absolutely beautiful property, very clean, and spacious for family of 5. An incredible host who went out of her way to decorate and accommodate for a birthday and anniversary celebration which made the stay extremely special. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting to stay in the Peak District.

The photographs didn't do the cottage justice - it was beautifully decorated and very well appointed and equipped. Nothing was too much trouble for our host Gill who went above and beyond to make our visit comfortable and enjoyable. We visited Alton Towers on both days of our stay which was super easy to get to and our grandsons took advantage of chill out time in their bedrooms with TV's on our return each evening. Lots of local eateries nearby and Gill recommended a fantastic Chinese Takeaway in nearby Cheadle.

Woodbine Cottage: The Perfect Base for Our Alton Towers Adventure

We had a lovely stay at Woodbine Cottage for a family trip to Alton Towers. The location of the cottage is very convenient, just a short drive from Alton Towers theme park. The cottage itself exceeded our expectations. It looks even better in person than in the photos. It is a very spacious place with 3 bedrooms, a big living room, kitchen, and dining area. It has all the amenities you need for a comfortable stay, including an oven, hob, washing machine, and dryer. The host, Gill, was extremely helpful and communicative. She provided assistance promptly whenever we had any questions. The check-in and check-out process was very smooth. Overall, Woodbine Cottage is a great choice if you're looking for accommodation close to Alton Towers. We would definitely stay here again in the future and highly recommend it to other families visiting the theme park. We had an enjoyable overnight trip at Woodbine Cottage and would rate it highly for families visiting Alton Towers theme park.

Stayed as a family of 5 with two small children for 1 night after visiting alton towers. Lovely place thats less than 10minutes drive away so very convenient. Didnt really make use of the kitchen but it was well equipped and the only place I have ever been with a bread maker!!
