Lovely location by the river in a small village with a Chateau. Good for visiting Monet’s Garden. The restaurant was fantastic; not a huge menu but the food was delicious and well-priced.
It was being renovated which we didn’t realise when booking. Not sure if the bedrooms had been done. They are ok but my radiator wasn’t working, there was a cracked window and the room was dark at night as no central light which made it impossible to read ( like a lot of hotels these days). The bathroom was basic but clean. Could be a really beautiful place to stay; let’s hope they get there.
