Château De La Bûcherie

Todo. El lugar es simplemente precioso!! Tiene un encanto único. Este ha sido el mejor hotel del viaje y me atrevo a decir uno de los mejores hoteles en que hemos estado en mucho tiempo. La gente es realmente amable. Hacen todo lo que pueden para que uno se sienta bienvenido y cómodo. Cynthia de la recepción fue realmente encantadora, Betty, la directora del castillo, el chef del restaurante (imposible no hacer una reserva; es realmente bueno) Mendi, la chef de repostería, Renato del desayuno, de la Recepción una sra adorable originaria de las islas Maldivas (perdón por olvidar su nombre) y otra chica, también de recepción y amiga de Mendi quien nos ayudó a cambiarnos de pieza cuando quisimos quedarnos más días.

Me sorprendió muchísimo las críticas que vi en la página. La leerlas dudé seleccionar el hotel, pero gracias a las fotos decidí correr el riesgo. No logro entender que haya gente que espere las comodidades de un hotel recién hecho, en un castillo antiguo. Las edificaciones antiguas tienen restricciones reguladas por el estado para su preservación. Es evidente que NO pueden tener ascensor ni muchas de las comodidades que si tienen los hoteles modernos. Lo que me sorprendes es que esas personas no sean capaces de ver el encanto, la belleza y la magia que SI tiene un palacio de esa antigüedad.

Loved the property, the seating outside, very clean, and staff very welcoming

The rooms were not serviced on a daily basis, except you get a clean bath mat, bins weren’t empty and no clean towels , and tables outside were not cleaned or cleared away on a daily basis

The surrounding is wonderful and the property looks great! The staff is very helpful and the breakfast is really tasty. We also had a great dinner in the house (not the restaurant) really well organised four our family of 15.

The rooms are not as great as the pictures on the website. The rooms facing the garden get really warm.

Beautiful old building, gardens and nature in need of renovation

We had booked a twin room on ground floor. This turned out to be in a side building with doors to enter the room directly from court yard. The doors were not possible to close properly, there was no sun screen, so afternoon sun and 35 degrees outside made it unbearable. No air con or proper fans. The room was not cleaned with cob webs and dust. We required a different room in the main building and got one facing east which was better. But no aircon i the main building either so very hot room. We got a stronger fan which helped a little. The property is very old and not well renovated.
