A comfortable stay close to Anfield

The property was in an ideal location for us as we were attending a game at Anfield, with the ground being approx 1 mile walk away. It was easy to find and access, with parking being available nearby which was convenient. We had requested a travel cot which was up when we arrived, and there was also a high chair in the cupboard which was appreciated. Overall, we all had a comfortable stay.

Although the property had everything we needed, additional touches would have been appreciated e.g milk for tea/coffee. We only stayed 24 hours and had a comfortable stay, however if we were to have stayed longer it would have felt a little basic.

Great stay

Location near to shops and takeaways and a bus route (12/13) 7 min walk. Property was great and clean with everything we needed. Easy to park out on the rd a great place and will definitely stay again.

All doors squeak needs a little oil and fridge seal needs good clean as can see mould developing but not major issues property otherwise was spotless and would definitely stay again. I’m not sure I’d be happy at having to move car if it was a match day! Luckily for us it wasn’t.

Liverpool family stay

House was lovely and had everything we needed for our stay. It was also in a great location only a mile or so from the football stadiums and similar into the city centre. Really good to have parking right outside the house as well. Overall we had a great stay and would not hesitate at booking for our next trip to liverpool

Fast internet .

The property had only one parking space available directly opposite, which may have been a matter of luck—otherwise, parking could be quite challenging. The bathroom layout was unusual, particularly the toilet, which lacked sufficient space when seated and would not be suitable for guests with mobility issues. I was also surprised to find the bathtub located on an upper floor, which is quite unconventional. The shower seal was mouldy. In the bedroom, the pillows were all tightly rolled and not particularly comfortable. Additionally, there was no salt provided in the kitchen. A few thoughtful touches—such as basic condiments—would go a long way in making guests feel more welcome.

Place was spacious and photos were accurate and host was responsive It did the job for a quick overnight stay

Only 3 towels and 2 hand towels provided for a group of 4, questionable choice Bag of belongings left in a drawer upstairs - thankfully had contact details in and it was from the guest staying the night before so it wasn't cleaned properly overnight Parking was available to us at the time but apparently its not available during football season

Absolutely brilliant, loved every minute of it, shame I wasn't staying for longer.

OMG, Where do I start.. the property is amazing, and it was so easy to find and parking absolutely no problems whatsoever. It's street parking but it's free parking and you can always park right outside the house. The house from what I could tell was in a multicultural area and it was so quiet. There were absolutely no problems whatsoever with any of the neighbours. The house was spotlessly clean and when we walked into the property, it smelt beautiful. The kitchen was beautiful and there was tea, coffee and sugar provided. There's a kettle, microwave, a gas cooker and built-in oven and grill. There's a little courtyard out back with 2 chairs. The stairs are a little steep, but that's what a hand rail is for and obviously if you don't come bounding down the stairs (who would) then there's going to be no problems. Anyway ... 3 nice sized bedrooms, the 3rd bedroom is an attic room and there's a secret room in here, which has an attic window and you can see the neighbourhood. All the bedrooms were nicely decorated and each room had a dressing table, a bedside table and a lamp. The carpets were in great condition and soft to walk on. The beds were really comfortable and I had the best nights sleep. Blinds up at all windows. The bathroom, beautifully designed and for the comments where I read not much power to the water ... I'm not sure what you were doing, but there was more than enough power in that shower and the water was HOT. When you turn the shower on from the pull cord by the door, you can set the shower to 'high' or 'low', maybe other guests had it set to low, but anyway, the power was perfectly fine. Spotlessly clean. Toilet .. as a few others have said, you can't get your legs around to sit front ways (unless you're a child) but unless you spend the entire stay on the toilet, this isn't going to be a problem.

I wouldn't write anymore on the what I liked, so I will continue here. The living room corner sofa is so comfortable, literally host, where did you get this from? the TV works perfectly well. We took our apple TV with us oh and the wifi is fast (the information for the wifi is in the first room on the wall just as you come into the house). There is absolutely NOTHING that I didn't like about this house ..... oh yes there is ... the fact that I didn't book for longer! Everything was perfect, spotless, nice neighbourhood, plenty of restaurants around (based on Just eat, etc). Absolutely beautiful place, and a real gem. If you're a LFC fan ;) apart from being an absolute legend (naturally), the stadium is just down the road and if you park in Stanley road car park it's free so you can enjoy our beautiful stadium for as long as you want to. Great stay, great host!

We loved everything about the property, it was in a great location for everything we wanted to do whilst we were in Liverpool, it exceeded expectations having things in to make a drink when we arrived. We had all the things we needed and more for a lovely break away. Would highly recommend and would definitely book again on any return visits.

Family friendly house in Liverpool

very well set up property in a quiet street with plenty of room for a family to stay. Bus into the centre of the city was a failry short walk away. There are a couple of small food stores in walking distance but for a serious shop to self cater, the large Asda supermarket means you need a car. Nice to have a proper microwave, cooktop and oven in kitchen.

nothing to complain about- the worst I could say is there wasn't a bottle opener or can opener amongst the utensils!

Had to leave early due to lies and harassment.

It was clean.

The whole experience was trash. Every morning we had the smell of weed coming in through the windows. The tv didn't work properly. On Friday, we were in a paid for event when the owner was bombarding my wife with phonecalls and messages accusing us of having a party. We didn't. So we had to miss our event. We asked the owner how she came to this accusation, she wouldn't tell us. After multiple phonecalls, we found out the neighbours had been spreading lies accusing us of having a party. We didn't even play music. This made us so uncomfortable that we thought we were getting spied on. We decided to leave. My wife has autism and mental disabilities, and she was in hysterics. So my birthday got ruined, my wife's a mess and our holiday had to end early. The owner said she would organise a refund for us, but has since changed her mind and is now refusing one. This whole situation has been nothing but stress and anxiety. I would stay well away from this property.

Excellent base for a visit to Liverpool. Very clean throughout, all the bedrooms are a good size and there were great communications from the owner. Price was also a bargain. Highly recommended.

The owner was ok and polite

The tv too small, the fridge dirty and freezer dirty and all broken, beds very uncomfortable, pillows were like bullets with foam filling, told couldn’t use a disable bay as was for the neighbour but in the 3 days there no one parked there at any time and I hold a disable badge it’s a space for anyone with a badge I checked with council , sunken bath seemed very dangerous with the slippery shower, no tin opener no bottle opener, no wardrobe or drawers in middle bedroom just a desk, the hand rail to go up the steep steps was coming away from the wall very dangerous , oven dirty ,

Had a brilliant time, our first family trip away was made very easy!

The property was clean and comfortable. The rooms were a lovely size and there was lots of space in the house. Parking outside was very convenient. Easy to access and was a short walk to Anfield. City centre was just a short bus ride away. Communication with the host was fantastic, they couldn’t do enough for us and accommodated our last minute request of changing check out times. The house had tea/coffee, hand soap and toilet rolls provided - brilliant when travelling with a family as these are usually the bits you forget but are very important!

Great little house.

Lovely clean house in a good location and was nice and quiet. Good comfy bed in a spacious dwelling which was only a short bus ride away from the City centre. All in all we were very happy and would certainly use Poppy's Project again.

We liked this house. The location was fine (next door neighbour was lovely) and there was plenty of parking right outside on the street. The house was very clean and modern and had everything we needed. Given how good value our stay was, there’s nothing to complain about. Thanks for a great stay :)
