Swiss Heaven - Spacious 3 Bedroom House

​We had a great stay at this three-bedroom home in Anfield. The layout is wonderful—spacious, thoughtfully designed, and filled with charming decorative features throughout. The kitchen was exceptionally well-equipped with everything we needed, and the bedrooms provided plenty of room for everyone to relax comfortably. ​Location-wise, it’s unbeatable if you are visiting for football or general sightseeing. Being so close to the LFC stadium was a huge plus, and getting into central Liverpool for tourist spots was quick and effortless.

Our only real disappointment was the standard of cleanliness, both inside and out. There was loose rubbish left in the front yard upon arrival, and several "forgotten" areas inside—like the lamps and stair spindles—had noticeable layers of dust. Despite the housekeeping oversights, it remains a genuinely lovely property. With a bit more attention to detail on the cleaning side, it would easily be a five-star stay!

Location was good and a 10 minute drive to the City and the Dock area, made commuting very easy. We also has parking right outside the property with a parking permit provided. Thanks for making it so easy. The area around the property was busy but felt safe all the time we were there - but then we found that wherever we were in Liverpool! Kitchen facilities were good with easy oven and hob with generous space for us four adults at the table. Lounge was comfy and with good seating around a decent sized TV. Overall, nice to see lots of plug points throughout, for our phones and tablets. Toilet and bathroom facilities were good with excellent shower water strength. Thanks for all the towels provided. Always a 5-star point from me. We had dinner one night at the Cabbage Hall Pub - a 5 minute walk from the property. Highly recommended.

Just one small point. Even a small freezer would have been nice. Perhaps this can be mentioned in the rental notes. Otherwise we all enjoyed our stay very much.

Keys were left in a box super easy

We didn’t get any parking passes but it was okay we parked over the road. Tv didn’t work and the lack of lighting in the bedrooms/ getting ready mirrors. Couldn’t cook any food as the cooker wouldn’t light a flame and the pans were filthy. Also got woken up Saturday morning at 2am to the next door neighbours having a 3 way physical fight in the road and outside our property. Blood was everywhere, screaming, crying. The woman was being beaten up in the road. And we had to call the police. 2 people from our group went home as they didn’t want to be around in the area. And it was for my birthday weekend so we weren’t happy about this at all.
