Pleasant host but house could do with attention to storage areas and kitchen equipment

Easy to get to, comfy beds, good shower. Owner responsive and helpful

Lack of storage in bedrooms - nowhere to hang clothes and drawers full of bedding. Seriously under equipped kitchen - 2 saucepans to cook Christmas dinner. Cheap crockery and cutlery with dinner plates the size of side plates not ideal especially at Christmas

Beautiful Oriental home

Loved the home in all the decor was tastefully well thought out and loved the home in entirety, it was warm and inviting, Heating was already set perfectly on arrival, pillows and mattresses all fresh, clean and very comfortable, the kitchen had everything you would need and more, bathroom had toiletries and soft fluffy towels supplied in rooms, garden was lovely would love to see it in the summer, we shall return.

I would recommend this property, lovely quiet neighbourhood

Lovely garden and theme throughout the house. Lovely little touches throughout the house giving the impression the owner had gone the extra mile 😀

No bed base in third bedroom and loose ceiling light fitting . But in fairness I didn’t contact the property owner while I there due to being busy. I’m sure if I had have done given the quality of the rest of the house they would have been straight there .

Fantastic

Absolutely Everything was beautiful and so so clean, a credit to the owners. this is the first house stay in Liverpool as oppose to a hotel stay and hands down I would not stay in a hotel again I would come back here every time. Bus stop not far to jump on the bus to town, local aldi so close and plenty shops, we walked to croxteth park and farm it was a lovely 25 minutes to get there and it is a beautiful park for walking with a lovely playground for kids. The house had absolutely everything you needed There is a real warm energy in the house when you walk in you instantly feel relaxed safe and secure. The garden is outstanding and so secure It was on a lovely really quiet street with friendly neighbours each side Beds were so comfortable and clean , lovely heating available, decor is fantastic My twins played in the garden for hours and hours in the sunshine we got them a little pool from the local shop we felt like we were on a sunny holiday in France Host was great and very helpful Thank you so so much we can not wait for our next visit

3rd bed was a mattress on the floor did have a slight argument between the children who was going to sleep on it. May not be suitable for some people

Nice quiet, clean, warm, comfortable end-of-terrace house slightly let down by lack of a few basics

The property was fabulously quiet (birdsong was the loudest noise!), clean, warm and comfortable with many little extra gadgets (Nespresso etc).

Just a few tiny basics would have made all the difference between good and great: The property had a dishwasher but no working sink plug, so we had to use the dishwasher for every little thing which was annoying, particularly as it didn't have a sensible basic selection of cutlery and glasswear (1 wineglass, 4 proper knives/forks for a 3-bed house?). Also no bedside lights/sidetables in master bed. No instruction sheet/booklet/folder to explain where everything was and how things worked: e.g. heating (not obvious: 1 mobile thermostat controlled radiators, but 2 rooms had seperate underfloor with their own thermostats); no brochures/maps/list of local restaurants as most have.

Could be great but needs attention

Nice bathroom, parking for two cars. Lots of plates. Dishwasher and tablets provided.

Location advertised as West Derby but it's actually in Norris Green. The house could be great as the decor is nice and they have tried with the interior design but it does need some attention. Cutlery is very cheap. The forks bend when using them. House in general needs a good clean, spider webs hanging from fittings. Skirting boards dirty and dusty, particularly downstairs. Light fitting in one of the bedrooms (one with the low bed) is hanging off and looks like it could fall at any minute. Only one curtain in the room with the "large double". It doesn't cover the whole window so the room lights up when the motion sensor light in the garden turns on.

Lovely garden area, quiet area and spacious for a family holiday.

Location great for visiting Liverpool with our dog, near to Sefton and Croxteth Parks. Short 5 mins walk to local shops.

Beds were not as comfortable as other stays and duvets very small if sharing a double bed.

Tropical retreat… totally ridiculous

Modern interior and well stocked. Felt safer with CCTV Host was helpful when we needed the language changing on the TVs.

Unfortunately, it’s wasn’t cleaned up to standard. The dust and state of the carpet was very poor. It set off my sons asthma so we vacuumed the property to find a significant amount of dog hair in the carpeted areas of the house. The garden was lovely but unkept, there were leaves and weeds in the garden and the swing chairs had mould on them, which I suppose did add to the tropical feeling. To add, we hadn’t realised the property what seemed like a social housing estate. On the last evening of our stay Friday night there was a full on brawl which scared the children.

I don’t want to be negative about this property, as we really did have a relaxing time, when we were in house and back garden. However now that I’m home and have to write review I have to be honest, their are a few things which have to be pointed out, to ensure a true reflection. Quilts for the beds are two small, we had to take from another bedroom and have one each. Which would have been a problem if we had gone with friends. One of the previous reviews were correct you are in the middle of an ex council estate, Norris Green which is absolutely not a problem, however with the price we paid I would have liked a touch more privacy. Once I had booked I was informed there was a few neighbours who were not happy with previous noise issues. Which I would have liked to have know that prior to booking as while you’re there you are very close, also a bit on tender hook incase you upset anyone. Yes there is a bus service however would not like to be coming home late on a bus as it is an inner city estate. With traffic we could not get to Liverpool any quicker than 20-25 minutes by car which for me is just to far out

Previous occupants were obviously smokers, few cigarette ends in the garden, which we cleaned up to stop dogs eating them.

Location is in a very quiet and nice neighborhood, not too far from the centre. The house is fantastic and clean. We loved the garden, even if it was rainy every day! Perfect for a group of 4!

Beautiful house and gardens easy to find and park we loved our stay.

I hadn't received the email through the app with the key code just rang Paula and she told me there and then and she was super friendly. We were competiting at Aintree Equestrian and the house was super easy to drive to we had an Equitrek horse box for the first couple of days and it fitted on the drive. The house and garden was beautifully decorated and all appliances etc looked brand new. We originally chose the property because of the parking and it allowed pets, we actually didn't bring the dogs in the end but the house was spotlessly clean you would have no idea that any pets had every stayed. Was a very welcoming and comfortable house would 100% book again next year. Neighbours were very friendly as well.

Didn't have any complaints, we didn't understand how to work the heating but then found the little box upstairs, that said the house was set at a nice ambiance so it wasn't essential.

Outstanding Property, 100% recommend

From the minute we walked in we were taken by the immaculate property. Everything has been thought of and neatly organised. Very fast internet which was prefect to get some work done a then have a movie night in bed with the kids. Netflix and Amazon Prime was a nice touch. Also felt safe walking in the dark to the close by Aldi as neighbourhood is quite pleasant.

Very relaxing home with everything we needed. We felt like we were on an exotic holiday whilst at the house thanks to its beautiful garden and surrounding areas. Very close to Aintree hospital. Couldn't ask for a better home during my daughters treatment.

The description of property was false, it wasnot a three bed apartment but a semi detached house on a council estate. Had we known its location we would not have booked. No facilities in walking distance. Only one toilet, if a large group it wouldn't be suitable

the location was good, close to shops for food very warm and comfortable, homely feel very modern and had everything you need. loved the shower, was great for my mum who is disabled

The heating was difficult to work when we arrived at first but we managed to work it out the 2nd day. it didn’t cause any problems and the house was warm really quickly

Clean, quiet, convenient for both Liverpool and Alder Hey Children’s Hospital.

The property is an end-terrace house located in a quiet residential neighbourhood (close to a primary school) and has its own off-road private parking. It was exceptionally clean and appears to have been renovated recently. It is very well appointed, having everything needed for a short stay, including a dishwasher, washing machine, and tumble dryer. The host communicates clearly and promptly.

As another reviewer mentioned, one of the bedrooms has only a single curtain, leaving half the window unshaded. (The other two bedrooms have very good blinds that block out nearly all the light.)

Absolutely stunning house, garden was beautiful and ideal location for what we wanted.

Only comment would be another curtain needed for one of the bedrooms as one curtain didn't cover the window so it woke us up when it got light. But apart from that it was absolutely spectacular thank you!

Fijn onderkomen met goede voorzieningen

Fijn huis met voldoende goede voorzieningen. Tuin was ook prettig en de omgeving rustig.
