Poppy's Place - Manningham Road

A really lovely house with all amenities needed to make our stay very comfortable. Met host on Saturday morning she was absolutely lovely and very easy to talk to

The street outside was very noisy, which was fine for us, but wouldnt be ideal for a quiet night away

The house was immaculate and beautifully decorated with lots of natural light. For being a terraced house in a residential area, it was extremely quiet and there was plenty of room for parking. The kitchen was equipped with everything you need for your stay. There were shops nearby if you needed anything essential. Because we had our car, we drove to go out for dinner but it was a quick twenty minutes away. Beth, our host, was extremely helpful and was quick to answer any questions or queries I had. Overall,.we had an excellent experience and we would definitely stay again when we next visit Liverpool.

Closeness to Anfield football stadium. Good communication with owner before stay.

Rough area. Lumpy pillows, low beds, floor and settees in living room could do with replacing as look very warn and old. Cheap dining table and chairs but served a purpose. Although never used outside dining area or garden, it definitely needs some care and attention. Towels very thin and shower was either too hot or too cold with low pressure, could not get the hang of it. I know probably hard to find somewhere else in walking distance to the football ground at the same price! Bit of a pain having to park up at another location as there was a match on and then move the car to the property after the match. If I had known that before we booked it would have put us off staying there.
