Excellent walkable location for either Anfield or Goodison Park. Frequent very nearby bus connections into the city at £2 per single ticket. Nicely decorated. Comfortable lounge seating. Strong WiFi. Easy to access due to key lock box.

Being winter, the heating needed to be on but because the ground floor is open plan and the twin and mezzanine beds are in a large tall room, the heating needed to be on for a long time to warm those areas up. The problem with this was that the bedroom with a double and single was then made much too hot because there was no thermostat on the radiator to turn it down or off. The window to this room could only be opened a little bit as it has a wire for security. I had to sleep with the window open all night - which in turn caused the blinds to clatter noisily a bit - and take the duvet out of its cover, and I was still too hot. This wouldn't be an issue in warmer months, of course. The TVs have built in Amazon FireTV which operates over the internet, but you need to have your own log ins to use the channels. We got no basic antenna-based Freeview on the lounge TV, even after attempting re-tuning. The EPG worked but no picture. We only got patchy Freeview signal on the other TVs. Either the antenna need fixing, or improving, or a signal booster adding. The TV issue was annoying but not a deal breaker. The inability to control the temperature of the main bedroom means we wouldn't stay here again in cold months. Lastly, "due to a system error" they failed to confirm the late check out that we paid for and, instead, later that day sent an email reminding us that check out was at 10am. I sent a message to query this, but they didn't respond until after midnight. If I hadn't still been awake that late, then we would have to have got up in time to pack and leave for the 10am.

The location and parking beside the house are excellent. Very quiet neighbourhood and of course very close to Anfield stadium where we visited a match.

There was no seperate shower, you have to shower in the bath, that’s something to work on: remove the bath en put in a decent shower. Who uses a bath anyway? Also a dishwasher would be nice, i’d rather have that instead of the washingmachine which we didn’t use. No dishwasher isn’t very hygenic either.
