Authentique Appartement Aixois

Lägenheten låg perfekt i centrala gamla Aix en Provence med utsikt över takåsarna och med närhet till allt: Cours Mirabeau, marknader, caféer och restauranger, mängder av små boutiquer, bagerier och små mataffärer, museer, historiska byggnader och fontäner.

Saknade hiss - lägenheten låg på fjärde våningen därför bra med lätt bagage !

Die Unterkunft befindet sich zentral in der Altstadt. Die Ausstattung des Appartements war außergewöhnlich. Die selbst angefertigten Tische waren sehr individuell und sehr gut gefertigt.

Location was perfect for me, very central and within walking distance to everything I needed. Lots of markets happen in the town so it was easy to walk around, buy things and drop it off to the room if needed. The room itself was comfortable and spacious. I will say, if you’re travelling with a heavy suitcase, just heads up, it’s on the fourth floor with no elevator. I didn’t mind that at all though. I’d often leave the window open to hear people passing by or enjoying coffee at the eateries in the courtyard below.

Not necessarily things I didn’t like. Just things I worked around. The bathtub has slow draining, it still did the job for me so I didn’t mind. But if you’re someone who’s iffy about that then that’s something to consider. I wasn’t sure how to switch the washing machine on. I tried a few of the buttons and looked up the model to see how it works but couldn’t figure it out. Unsure if it was plugged or may be a technical issue, so might be good to check in with the hosts on how to operate it hehe. There are laundromats around the area too and within a 5min walking distance.

Localisation

A part le côté authentique du studio, tout est à revoir : description erronée, c'est un studio et pas un appartement avec 1 chambre, boîte à clés vétuste dans la rue au ras du sol, 4e étage sans ascenseur non mentionné, quand on a 72 ans, on aimerait être prévenu, porte d'entrée difficile a ouvrir, lit placard à déplier et peu confortable, ménage pas fait en arrivant : sol sale, cheveux dans la salle de bain, robinetterie et appareil entartrés, grille pain non vidé, impossible de faire fonctionner la TV et le micro onde pendant 8 jours, et plaque de cuisson très compliquée, pas d'indicateur eau chaude ou froide dans la cuisine et salle de bain, et on se brulait systématiquement, pas d'enveloppe de couette ni de taie d'oreiller ( sur ce point on a dû téléphoner et 2 heures après ils les ont apportées avec une bouteille de proséco en dédommagement), table de cuisine quasi inutilisable car planche en biais et pas fixée, sièges de bar pas pratiques, bref, a part la localisation, absence de confort, de praticité et de propreté..le charme et la déco ça suffit pas !
