Fascinating stay in old town Budva´s only hotel.

Fascinating experience. Arrived at hotel and met the owner at the desk. I heard him speaking in Turkish so greeted him with my best Turkish. He was amazed to find an American who spoke his language and insisted I stay at his second location in the old town of Budva. He had one of his staff drive me to the old town. Brilliant perhaps the only hotel in the entire old town. Filled with charm and in the middle of Budva´s best sight its old town. A very special stay in a very memorable hotel.

The staff were friendly and welcoming and the location was nice.

There was no elevator and we didnt have help with our luggage. The ac was quite older and didn’t work properly , the bed mattress was worn and finally the bathroom was small and outdated.

Otopark olması avantajlı ama otoparka ip çekildiğini gördük işlek yoldan dönerken problem oluyor. Kahvaltısı zayıf ve çok az imkan sunuyor. Saat 10 da biten kahvaltı için sabah erken demlenmiş bir fincan kalan soğuk kahve için 09.45 te rica ettik 4 kişiydik kahve alabilirmiyiz dedik kahvenin var oldugunu söylediler. Altı üstü filtre kahve. Yani sıcak içeceklerden bile tasarruf yoluna gidilmiş daha öncede bu tesiste kalmıştım ama bu şekilde yönetilmiyordu!! Kahvaltıda eski çeşitliliğinde değildi.

Tesisin resmi görülen binasında kalmadık çünkü çatı katı odası rezerve yaptırmıştık ancak giriş yapmadan önce odaya baktığımızda 3 kişilik bir aile için çok dar olduğunu gördük, bunun üzerine bizi 100 metre uzakta olan kendilerine ait olan bir aparta yönlendirdiler ve yine çatı katı daire idi fakat balkonu vardı üstelik daha geniş ve ferahtı,kahvaltı için her sabah tesise yürüdük, fakat kahvaltısı çok zayıftı.. eh karnınız doyarmı evet doyar

40 senelik turizmciyim yüzlerce yurt dışı ve yurt içi otellerde kaldım,ancak hayatımda ilk defa kalvaltı saatini 5 dakika geçmiş bir durumda rica ettiğim sadece 1 çay bardağı sıcak su istediğimde benden ücret talep edildi, inanılır gibi değildi başta şaka zannettim ama değilmiş, bu nasıl bir terbiyesizliktir, nasıl bir çiğliktir, nasıl bir ayıptır, nasıl bir turizmcilik anlayışıdır... bu otelde kalmanız için 2 kere hatta 5 kere düşünmenizi tavsiye ederim!!

Söpö pieni hotelli budvan keskustassa. Hyvä sijainti lähellä kaikkea. Todella mukava ja palvelualtis henkilökunta, siitä erityispisteet. Herkullinen turkkilaistyylinen aamupala kuuluu hintaan. Käytin myös pesulapalvelua, joka toimi moitteettomasti ja sain aamuksi kasan puhtaita vaatteita. Hyvän kokoinen huone yhdelle hengelle ja hyvin toimiva ilmastointi kuumalla kelillä. Yöpyisin mielelläni uudestaankin!

Jääkaappi piti päällä ollessaan hieman kovaa meteliä. Minulla oli hyvät korvatulpat, mutta ilman niitä herkkäunisen unet olisivat voineet kärsiä.

Wir waren mit dem Motorrad auf der Durchreise während unserer Montenegro-Tour.

Das Hotel liegt direkt an der Hauptverkehrsstraße und zur Altstadt sind es nur wenige Minuten Fußweg. Es ist zwar schon in die Jahre gekommen aber es hat dadurch einen gewissen Charme. Wir hatten ein sehr gutes Frühstück und das Personal dort ist durchweg sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Besonderen Dank an Herrn Ozkul und auch die Dame in der Küche, die gerne vergessen wird zu loben, da man sie meist nicht zu Gesicht bekommt.
