The apartment was immaculately clean , and the facilities were ideal ..
It was warm and quiet... everything is on the doorstep with the Coastline and Whitley Bay town centre a few mins walk away

Kitchen and bathroom both look quite new and are high standard and we're so clean, with tea/coffee and sugar all there which is a nice touch ...
The host was first class, clear arrival instructions and really helpful with any questions.. he even provided us a discount voucher for the amazing Takdir Indian restaurant just next to the apartment!
Highly recommended we will definitely be back!

Nice place but needs a clean.
Location excellent
Apartment wasn't that clean. Splashes of dirt up some walls, oven was not clean with fat on trays from previous use, floors have been hoovered but needs a deep clean...we found chips and sand around furniture, Old receipts and a ball under the bed highlighting that only peripheral cleaning has been done.

Great location and a good night's sleep
The location was excellent and lovely sea views from the lounge. The fact that the bedrooms are at the back of the property made it very quiet overnight. Bathroom is a bit awkward but not a huge issue. Not having a list of things to do before leaving was very much appreciated!
No lock/bolt on the bathroom door, so remember to knock :-)

Loved the VERY NICE apartment but HATED THE STAIRS & SCAFFOLDING!
Beach & Promenade Views - Very Near Restaurants - Easy Walk to the Spanish City.
We loved watching joggers on the promenade whilst eating our breakfast. Especially enjoyable was groups of small children running races along the promenade under the care of their teachers or other adults.
Stairs, Stairs, STAIRS !!! & Scaffolding.
Whilst in the small print it mentions "Upper floors accessible by stairs only", we overlooked that as the Booking.com photo didn't really show the true elevation of the apartment. To us it misleadingly looked like it was a ground floor or first floor room. The reality is that it is two floors above an Indian Restaurant with lots and lots and lots of stairs. For fit, non dog owning youngsters, it would have been fine but for us 78 (disabled) & 75 year old arthritic couple with our small dog it really was a nightmare. Apart from moving in on arrival and moving out on departure, with 3 weeks luggage and gadgets, we had to negotiate the stairs down and back up again every morning and evening for toileting our dog. Then repeat this at least twice more every day to go out for the day and/or evening for beach visits and dining. By the end of week one of our three week holiday, our hips, knees & feet were in absolute agony. This is made worse by the fact that we've lived in a bungalow for 22 years so are not used to stairs. Also we're a little peeved that there was scaffolding from ground to roof level which affected our view from our seaview window somewhat.
Fortunately, although neither my wife or I like Indian food and were fearing the smell of curry percolating into the apartment, it didn't. Had we'd spotted the "Upper floors accessible by stairs only" wording we two Blue Badge aging geriatrics, with our "Bungalow Legs" would have never booked this apartment, as it's certainly not suitable for anything other than very fit people that don't have week and arthritic bungalow legs & hips.

Fantastic homely apartment with all amenities, unrivalled views of the bay and beach.
Coffee& Milk sachet were a nice touch, as was the use of Netflix & Amazon Prime on the TV. complimentary parking permit was also very useful.

Best UK break so far!
The view was outstanding! Having your morning coffee watching the sunrise was so relaxing. Our hosts are the most friendly hosts we have had. So accomodating and couldn't do enough for us. The Takdir restaurant below is honestly the best Indian food we have ever had 😊. Location is so central. Lovely walks to the lighthouse and to Tynemouth. We are looking forward to booking again.

Nice apartment with lovely sea view.
I visited the apartment with my husband, 3month old baby and really enjoyed our stay! It was very spacious with everything we needed, a fully equipped kitchen, 2 bedrooms, a nice large living room with a lovely seaview. The property is very central, close to the beach, the town centre, shops and restaurants. Parking was easy. You can park in any side street around the property and just use the permit provided.
The owner was very helpful and brought us a cot as soon as we realised there wasn't one in the property.
There could be some improvements cleaning wise as some of the cutlery, plates and cups were slightly dirty. We also used the washer and our clothes came out covered in black bits. The leather parts of the sofa were a bit sticky. These are minor issues, but could be seen too and make the apartment perfect!

A really enjoyable long weekend in this very comfortable apt.
Location is great. Views from the living room are spectacular.
Kitchen could have done with a corkscrew and a few more plates. Stairs are a bit of a pain when unloading and loading the car.
