Hôtel de la Cité

For our trip to Nantes for the jazz & boats my brother & I thought the Hotel de la Cite was absolutely superb. Faultless in everyway. The location, the staff everything just great. we will return to Nantes and will not even consider another hotel.

Nicely designed, clean, modern room with enough space for luggage. Nice staff, walkable into the city, secure parking (a little walk away)

It’s got EV chargers advertised and there were none

Lobby was a great place to hang out. Free water in the lobby is a nice touch. The Superior Double room with the private patio is excellent. Breakfast was excellent and caters to all tastes. Staff were lovely and very helpful in providing local knowledge on parking and the best places to do the activities we wanted to do such as the best place to catch the solar eclipse. Easy access to the train station(10 minute walk), the Chateau(10 minute walk) and city centre(15 minute walk). Uber to airport approx 20 euro

Nothing negative to report

Hotel de cite was a lovely, clean and friendly hotel. The WiFi was great. The shower was excellent and everything was spotlessly clean. I especially took a shine to Radwan, he was a lovely and helpful guy! The breakfast was fresh and plentiful, of a continental style. There was also a great place to smoke.

My only criticism is the parking, it was an underground parking space about 200 mts from the hotel, it was VERY tight and extremely dark.
