No room heating system in late October

Almost everything, staff are nice, most systems are advanced and functioning well

No heating system during our stay. It’s already November and the temperature drops below 10 degree C at night. I’ve been traveling to many countries and this is definitely unusual for me. I’m definitely not getting used to wear jacket or sweaters indoors. The shower room floor is also a bit slippery. I would give a score 10 if the heating system works.

Great Hotel, even better staff.

Nice Hotel. Equidistant between the Old Town and the train station, so a nice handy location. The stars of the show though are the staff. From checking in to leaving , everybody that we encountered were so friendly and welcoming. Special shout out to Amber, absolutely wonderful. Nice bar to unwind in after a hard day’s sightseeing. Drinks at reasonable prices.

Positive Vibe/Relaxed Atmosphere

The hotel was a city location - not bang in the centre but within walking distance of a great many historical sites and local amenities. The staff were as friendly as could be and were extremely helpful. We had a very adequate room which was very good value for the week. We loved that there was local shopping for the odd souvenir as well as a refreshing bottle of water when heading out for the day. We are art lovers. Nantes more than caters for people like us. The city is clearly run with a great deal of thought and imagination. The modern architecture has a creative twist that most cities could do with an injection of. We visited the marvellous Musée Dobree, followed the green tourist line as much as we could, and went outside it too. We visited Musée des Arts Nantes, shopped in Biocoop ( for small foodie souvenirs such as moutarde and chocolate) went to local cafés to have lunch. A restaurant we liked which had a typically French feel was Aristide, 1 Place Aristide Briand - 44000, Nantes. My partner had Croque Monsieur and l had a substantial salad. We had a delicious pizza and a good glass of red wine, one evening in the Hotel's pleasant outside terrace. We chose to eat out as much as possible but did have breakfast on one occasion at the hotel which provided a good array of options. An alternative for breakfast is Melbourne Café just around the corner from the hotel. Although the transport options in Nantes were abundant, we found walking was our preferred mode. There is an efficient and smart tram service, bus, trains, and city bike hire. We visited the Ile de Nantes and went to the Hab Gallery where we saw the Gloria Friedman exhibition (until 28th Sept). There is so much to do and see from this hotel which is an ideal location for travellers, including families. We would recommend picking up 'Nantes, the Endless Journey' tourist guide.

We might have booked a bigger room for the week but we were fine with our room as a base. We don't have any complaints.

Great hotel!

Superb hotel for both business travel and holidays. Highly recommended! Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Good air conditioning. Excellent breakfast. Nice bar with drinks and pizzas. Lovely courtyard terrace to enjoy breakfast or a drink in good weather.

A minor point: the shower and sink are located within the room. It looks stylish but feels a bit unusual, and the room can get steamy after a hot shower 😉 The toilet, however, is in a separate room.

very quiet and relaxing

The rooms were clean and very comfortable. Staff were very helpful and very friendly. In particular, Big thanks to Staff named Miriam was super friendly and helpful and very professional and Ridwan for the very friendly welcoming attitude. Also, the cleaning lady who offered to help when we needed cleaning of one of our rooms.

Delightful stay and lovely staff

It was fresh and new. I had a single room although small it was very functional. I admire the design. The staff are delightful and very helpful. Just a short walk to the main tourist areas so I was able to walk to everything.

A comfortable choice

The rooms were comfortable and clean if a little cozy. Air conditioning worked well which was important. The hotel let us leave our bags while we explored the city. The front desk staff was very friendly, professional, and helpful. The breakfast was very good with friendly staff.

It's a great hotel, the location is perfect. Rooms are clean, beds are comfortable, staff is very kind and friendly. Our room was very small but it had everything that we needed. Very nice that they offer to store your luggage and also the 24-hour reception is a plus.

I'd give a 100 star rating if I could - especially for the staff!

This was by far the best experience we've had traveling with our cats! We've been to pet-friendly hotels before but this one brought the concept of animal-friendliness to a new level! All the staff - and other guests :) - were in love with our fur babies and did everything possible to make our stay pleasant for all humans and cats :) As we had booked one of the rooms with a terrace the cats could freely roam the walled-in garden (under supervision) and everyone was not only ok with it but loved having them there. The facilities were super clean, modern and beautiful, we especially enjoyed the terrace as the weather was also nice. We had everything we wished for and more. Also there was a little mix-up with our parking reservation, which was very quickly and proactively resolved before our arrival. Location is perfect - close enough to everything in town and only minutes away by foot from Terra Vega, a wonderful vegan, organic restaurant. We loved everything about our stay but especially the wonderful people who made it special for us as well as for Gucci and Toffee. Thanks so much, we'll definitely be back if we come to Nantes again!

Lovely new Hotel within walking distance of everywhere

Well appointed new hotel in a good location. Room was perfect for us as a couple. Very comfy bed. Nice bar and well thought out outside seating area.

Fantastic value with friendly, helpful staff, spotless room and great location.

The staff could not have been more helpful in every respect. They were welcoming, happy and just a breath of fresh air at the end of a tough day. They could not have done more to make our stay easier and were just brilliant with our dog, a 9 year old black labrador. The rooms are clean and modern but not huge. We were just sleeping there and it was exactly what we needed. For the money it was brilliant.

El hotel es muy acogedor y nuevo. Todo estaba muy limpio. Toda la gente del staff fueron muy amables y encantandores. Está a cinco minutos andando del centro y hay comercios cerca para cualquier cosa que se necesite comprar. Hay un dispensador de agua en la zona de desayunos para rellenar tu botella cada vez que lo necesites. Durante el desayuno los días que estuvimos había un música de arpa y violonchelo en directo, me pareció superagradable el momento.

Hôtel très confortable et très agréable idéalement situé côté de la Cité des Congrès où se tiennent les concerts de la Folle Journée. Personnel aux petits soins de ses clients.

A titre personnel, je n'aime pas le café issu de capsules polluantes... Le jus d'orange issu d'oranges fraiches pressées sous nos yeux était délicieux. Peut-être que la même attention pourrait être apportée aux amateurs de café... Peut-être prévoir quelques cafetières italiennes pour les clients grincheux comme moi qui n'apprécient que le café en grains ! Cela restera entre nous, on ne le dira pas à Georges Clooney...

Agréable , à reprendre à coup sur

De la réception ( accueil) à la restauration ...le personnel est de très haute qualité . La chambre correspondait à notre demande et très propre ( salle de bain "fermée) La situation géographique de l'hotel ( 15 mn à pied de la cathédrale) permet de se "balader" en centre ville , sans utiliser son véhicule. le parking "souterrain" est très pratique d'accés
