A beautiful place and beautiful hosts and amazing accommodation and charming

What can I say, this place was beautiful and peaceful. Jonathan was the most beautiful host and always smiling. From the moment we meet I saw a person that cares for his guests and making them feel welcome. We arrived an hour early my own mistake forgot the time.. The hosts were so was understanding and accommodating Jonathan was so hopeful to still show us around before hand Then we went to one of the supermarkets all very near by just to top up for a couple of days ..We didn't visit the town looks ok but not alot open ( which was like many we drive through ?) The breakfast was amazing and all fresh. The best french toast we have ever had. yummy We stayed two nights before our trip home to the uk . We went to Dunkirk museum and dunes for a day then a spontaneously a trip to burge only an hours drive . We had dinner and shopping. So location was perfect and amazing . The bedrooms are stunning and the grounds. My own Dog settled in well . This Place deserves more stars..xxxx Highly recommend this beautiful place it is so close to calais and a great sleep before moving on for the next journey.

I would say just to have an instruction manual for guests how to work things and a list of dos and do note will help guests and have an understanding. I love a bath and couldn't have one as others had stollen them plug which is sad.for this to happen Look at getting ones then attach. maybe will help. Also maybe some soft pillows for some beds The TV didn't always work and cutting out on us the screen was strange ? and couldn't use the lamp near TV as only one switch ? Overall Your doing a fantastic job and hopefully we will visit again .

Setting is pretty. Animals are cute and friendly. Accommodation is good. Owner is friendly. The town itself is not very nice.

Need to request breakfast 24 hours in advance. No entry (gates locked) before 1700, and the town is not very nice at all, so nowhere to stop for coffee etc. So don’t get there early.

Beautiful location and close to town

Château le Withof is a lovely hidden place just outside the town of Bourbourg. We booked the 6-person/ 3 bedroom guest house on the grounds and it did not disappoint. The host and family have clearly put a lot of love and attention into renovating the Chateau and we had an incredibly pleasant stay. For dinner the host recommended "Au Cloche" restaurant in the town center (you have to book) which was one of the best meals we have had on our trip, which was only 15-20mins walk away. I have a feeling we will be coming back to stay, if we find ourselves in France again.

Incredibly perfect stay! What we needed to recuperate from stressful world.

Breakfast was stupendous! There were a lot of attention and care in all aspects, food quality and presentation, decoration and overall peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. It felt we were in a world apart, where people care about you, they are attentive to you and your needs. Eric and Jo were fabulous hosts discreet and yet super efficient and caring. We loved the pain perdus, they were as good as my grandmother's ones. I have food allergies, they did not dismiss them on the contrary. It was the perfect long weekend, just what we all needed. Thank you!

Would fully recommend to anyone but especially families who love animals!

Wonderful friendly hosts, loads of space and our own little house with a fully equipped kitchen and best of all, an amazing selection of gorgeous rescue animals to brighten your day! We took advantage of the nearby supermarket and had a lovely meal in and they had thought of everything.

Our host was incredibly welcoming, making us feel right at home with their warm hospitality and attention to detail. The breakfast was fresh, beautifully presented, and the perfect way to start the day. From freshly baked pain perdu to quality local ingredients, every bite was a delight. Whether you’re looking for a relaxing getaway or a unique place to stay, Château Withof is an absolute gem. We highly recommend it and can’t wait to return!

Amazing moated chateau with great parking and easy access to the tunnel and ferries. Shared kitchen and comfy rooms upstairs. Cute ducks! Lovely breakfast

Le cadre splendide avec "les douvres" et les animaux dans le parc. La chambre très confortable. La possibilité d'avoir accès à une cuisine équipée si on veut rester manger là le soir. La sympathie des patrons.

Ein Kleinod mit wunderbaren Gastgebern in einem ungewöhnlichen Ambiente

Ein ungewöhnlicher Ort mit unerwarteten wunderschönen Einblicken in eine großartige Idee vom Leben und sehr persönlichem Service. Gastgeber die noch wissen wie gute Kommunikation gelebt wird und sich so der Gast super wohl fühlt.

Zeer aangename ervaring met hosts en regio. Zeker voor herhaling vatbaar.

Het chateau zelf is mooi gerestaureerd. De prachtige bomen, het rustieke, de groene binnenplaats, ideaal om tot rust te komen. De ligging is vrij centraal. Niet ver van het strand en dicht bij leuke dorpjes en kleine steden. De hosts zijn super vriendelijk en staan je met raad en daad bij. Het ontbijt is zeker voldoende en lekker.

Eventueel een paar boekjes/brochures op de kamer of keukentafel met info over de omgeving. Fiets-en wandelroutes. Streekprodukten bij het ontbijt aanbieden.

Le lieu, l'endroit, les propriétaires tellement accueillant et chaleureux. Petit week entre filles, merci beaucoup. Dommage pour le petit déjeuner que nous n'avons visiblement pas compris qu'il fallait réserver. À refaire sans hésiter !

Le cadre est joli le logis a du caractère bien décoré si on aime le style château

La cuisine ne correspond absolument pas à un hébergement de 8 personnes ni en espace ni en matériel. Les chaises sont très inconfortable .les matelas sont aussi de mauvaise qualité. Les serviettes de bains ont une mauvaise odeur. Le propriétaire est très agressif et chicane. Il nous a vraiment mis une très mauvaise ambiance
