Disgusting, wouldn’t recommend

There want to much to like about it other than good location

Our room floor was damp, and there was leak. The door didn’t close big gap! There was mould in the corners of the room and windows I’m assuming from the damp all in the carpet. Stains all over the floor. Just awful ! Lights not working! We had a 3 year old with us tried to change room no staff around, I then proceeded to file a complaint they ignored me and just sent a full stop…

Budget hotel could certainly be cleaner. Wouldn’t want to stay more than the one night.

Beds were comfortable. It was convenient for an overnight before boarding the Shuttle.

Room wasn’t very clean. Dusty cobweb on the bed. Disabled parking spaces blocked by multiple vehicles (four cars in three disabled spaces suggests they were being used by people who didn’t need them). Towels seemed old and thin.

disappointment

We stayed at this hotel from Friday to Sunday and unfortunately we were very disappointed on the first night because although we specified when we made the reservation that we wanted two rooms in a quieter part of the hotel (traveling with two small children) and also non-smoking rooms. Our request was confirmed, but when we arrived, we were given two rooms on the first floor of the hotel, near the entrance, where every evening groups of tourists stayed up talking until almost midnight, making the noise unbearable. And as if that weren't enough, cigarette smoke entered our room because the windows didn't close properly in either room. The shower had both a handheld and a fixed showerhead, and both turned on at the same time. It was okay for us adults, but washing a 2-year-old child like that was pretty much impossible because it was a very small space.Same doors of the other rooms was heard all night each time when the others was leaving and coming back the room as was out own door .

A modern, comfortable hotel

This is a really nice hotel, located just a few minutes from the motorway. The rooms are comfortable and modern. There is a good supermarket and service station on the opposite side of the road. We would be happy to stay here again.

Was a good location, easy to find and easy to park.

It is a little run down. missing paint and poor repairs to towel rails etc. The room was also pretty hot as it was on the top floor and although there were sky lights we couldn't leave them fully open as the road was a bit noisy Can't really complain too much though as it was an ok price. Would probably use again to be fair.

It is very convenient to break the travelling from the UK to the northeast of France .

The morning check outs can be a bit noisy with all the doors slamming one after the others whilst you are still trying to rest.

The location is great, walking distance to a shopping center and restaurants. It is also easy to find a free parking space nearby.

Friendly lady at the front desk. We arrived late at night and only spent the night to go to the ferry early the next morning. Very good location, really close to the ferry to Dover and a nice, quiet hotel. We had a nice large and clean family room.

Disappointing

The hotel is located close to a motorway, we travelled from the UK through the Europe, we stayed 1 night in this hotel and we weren't very pleased...we are not fussy people and traditional Premier Inn in the UK is absolutely perfect for us, however, this place was very tired...the room was dirty, when we arrived with our child it smelled after cigarettes, the carpet had so many colours we weren't sure which one was the original one🙄 we kept the window opened all the time to get some fresh air in. I couldn't blame reception / restaurant staff for anything, they were very friendly, helpfull and smiling all the time. The bathroom was nice and clean, however the bedroom just wasn't even hoovered, the beds were clean and comfortable, we had a good sleep. The food wasn't tasty, it was very blant , the starter was almost the same like the main food, we tried to eat as much as we could- felt the pressure from the chef standing there and watching people eating 🙄 The place needs some work to be done, however, like i mentioned staff is great here and their attitude keep the place running.

Close to the docks for a night en route

On being asked, the friendly receptionist easily changed our room to one with a walk in shower - excellent! The staff were all very friendly and helpful, and we thought that the breakfast was superb. Wifi was easy to access.

On arrival we found that we had been put in a room with a bath, which my wife could not access. The room was changed without fuss, but the new room had stains on the carpet. Also, the only way to let air into the room was to open the outside door, which we did not do for security reasons.

Great accommodation, good value and close to the ferry port

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Able to store our bikes securely overnight, important as we were on a cycling holiday. Room smallish but certainly adequate with nice view of goats in the field. Comfortable communal area. A bar. Excellent breakfast. Close to ferry port. All this for a very reasonable price. Certainly stay again
