We had an early ferry to catch so good location for that.
Run down, smell of cigarettes in the room. Sad place really. Fun fact, after paying for this hotel with my credit card, a lots of strange payments was billed on it for purchases done in Middle East (never even been to). My card was skimmed as it seems.

Friendly staff, provided a bedroom with an easy access with a baby, provided a baby bed without extra charges. Room was small but enough for one night, bedding is comfortable and shower clean.

Location
I booked room for 3 people and got just double bed ready for us. There was only one towel in the bathroom.

I always looking for a humble place, I liked that with the breakfast and other facilities.
Yes I am looking for an humble place but this plastic clapboard is terrible and falling a part at best.

The receptionist when we arrived was friendly and helpful and as there was a slight delay to check in he provided us with a bottle of water whilst we waited which was kind.
Fair do’s the room was as described on Booking.com so we didn’t arrive with huge expectations … but even so, it was tiny and very, VERY basic. The bed had a thin, rather hard mattress and was not comfortable. Only one thin pillow each. There was a really awkward step up into the tiny shower room and WC and it was in need of repainting. Our room was downstairs and the window didn’t seem very secure at all to have open and our window looked out onto other properties directly opposite, so there was little privacy. There was a LOT of noise throughout the night - mainly from other guests moving about, slamming doors as they were leaving early to catch ferries ….. and as the walls were paper thin we didn’t get much sleep. We also got badly bitten during the night, presumably by mozzies.

Charged more than expected even though booked through you - very expressive when turned up and made us pay flexible rate instead of the booked rate through booking.com
Really really run down all over

All of it, it was filthy, the bed wasn’t comfortable, the room was tiny, the pillow wasn’t even a pillow it was so small I got neck ache! Felt like we was in a prison cell and when we woke up it stink of fags!!!

How close it is to the ferry port. Secure parking.
Weird small rooms, broken window blind.
No lift, no sound insulation, breakfast room very small, full of noisy children.

Good location just off the autoroute
Helpful (and apologetic staff)
The pillows were the thinnest I have ever encountered
Finding a pair of socks left behind by a previous occupant under the top bunk mattress
The shower nozzle couldn’t be adjusted to stop it spraying the entire bathroom which ended up awash
Smell of old cigarettes in the room.

Location
Very dated, shower tray flooded into the toilet area and the rest of the bathroom was left soaking & I had to make the bed upon arrival as all sheets were left in a pillow case

The lady on reception was friendly and welcoming
Bedding was stained - probably had been washed but really should have been replaced as it was not appealing at all. Bathroom urgently needed attention to chipped paint and corroding metalwork. Overall feel of cheapness and lack of attention/investment

It was just off the motorway, easy to find
Flimsy, ugly and dirty. It felt like it was in a dodgy part of town.

We had a ferry arriving around 2am and needed a quick, easy, clean but cheap room to just crash for the night before heading onto Champagne. It was perfect for this.

The worst hotel I've EVER stayed in. Not worthy of even 1/10.
The worst hotel I've EVER stayed in. Not worthy of even 1/10.
"Welcomed" by reception guy without uniform or badges, just a scruffy hoodie. Reception stank of body odour and stale air.
Corridors and stairway dirty, worn paint and smell of fresh cigarette smoke.
First room (302) had broken shower fixing so shower head was resting on the taps - looked like it had been broken for some time - and only one towel for 2 of us.
Requested room change, given 108 ground floor, except the key code box didn't work so that was changed on the wall to let us on! No interest in fixing the shower or apology either for the other room.
Terrible stench of stale air and cigarette smoke in the room... in the carpets and in the bedding too.
Extractor fan not working and a ladies razor left in the bathroom on the shower taps from the previous occupier. Shower head caked in limescale.
Terrible night sleep hardly able to breathe for the smoke laden atmosphere and bedding, even with the window open.
There's no smoke detection in rooms at this hotel and from the smells in the corridors it seems open season to smoke wherever you like, and as reception is closed overnight from about 8pm there are no staff to check anything- imagine if we'd arrived for self-checkin to a broken keycode access box on the room door?!
Will be following this up with Ibis hotels as there's something seriously amiss in the auditing/monitoring of their hotels to allow something this bad to carry their name and not be brought up to scratch.

Not much. We travel a lot and visited many ibis hotels across Europe but never had so many dissatisfactions. Receptionists were helpful and polite though so that’s a good thing.
Dirty shower base that has not been cleaned before our arrival. Dirty toilet and no toilet paper! Not mentioning other missing things so only focus on worst parts which definitely was that we could smell cigarettes and there is no silent night even after 12 at night. It was still loud with people slamming doors all the time not allowing us to sleep before another day of long journey with the family. Breakfast…we should skip this part and just say we regret we didn’t wait till ferry to eat properly. Never stay here again
