Nice place for a simple overnight

Good location to carry on to car ferry the next morning. Great breakfast and a good meal at night, with a set menu. Overall good value for money.

I needed a place to stop overnight along my road trip. This purpose was met well.

Breakfast was good. The shower/bathroom ensuite were good. Quiet, slept very well.

It seemed like the carpet in the room could have used some more vacuuming. Lots of scuff marks, which are not important, but just doesn't look that great.

Handy overnight stop close within easy reach of the ferry by car

A useful location between the ferry port and the town. The price is very reasonable le and we use it often when we are using the Dunkirk to Dover ferry. If you arrive after 9 pm you will need the code to enter the car park and the hotel which is usually sent by e-mail beforehand.

Warm welcome, handy location, basic but fine.

I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The members of staff were absolutely lovely — kind, welcoming, and always polite. Their exceptional customer service really stood out and made me feel at home. The location is convenient, close to the motorway, and the hotel offers an ample, secure car park free of charge, which was a big plus. The WiFi worked well, and my room was quiet, ensuring a comfortable night’s rest.

The facilities are fairly basic, which makes sense given it’s a budget hotel. Cleanliness was okay overall, but there’s definitely room for improvement — my room and bathroom could have been a bit better maintained.

Basic, but clean and friendly staff

Friendly staff. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. Also some accessories available. One of the cheaper options and not far from the Ferry to reach Dover (about 20 minutes).

The walls are pretty thin. I was awake early because I heard a French couple talking. For dinner there was only one entree, one main meal and one dessert. I only chose the main meal. The food was decent, but way to salty for my taste. I suggest less salt and some salt on the table for guests who like it salty.

Quiet area. Close to Port. Food was ok, although basically. Bed was comfortable. All we needed for one night

Room smelled of damp. No proper ventilation. Bathroom was a wet room with a broken toilet seat. Would not walk on the floor without footwear. Restaurant was closed. Very dark. Could hear the neighbour's bedside light humming through the thin walls.

Little niggles that needed fixing. Towel rail in shower room was loose and 2 of 3 bulbs not working, dressing table mirror was missing, leaving unsightly glue on wall, only French tv channels, no a/c or bedside tables, noisy bedside lamp bulb. Otherwise tip top.

Excellent service, value for money, and pleasant, what's not to like.....?

The Staff were very helpful and friendly, though the ladies on chamber(room) service were a little limited on understanding English and my poor schoolboy French, but called their supervisor whose command of English was good..... Breakfast was in the French style, Croissants and pain au chocolat, with a choice of different coffees and teas, self service..... The dining area was very clean and had ample comfort..... I arrived after 9pm so there was no reception service, and info was sent to my home computer, which made for some inconvenience, but probably of my own making, though it might be handy to have the reception time limit advertised on their site, or information( room number, key) left in a sealed and customer addressed envelope at Reception...... Buses are available from 150 metres from the premises in both directions, and bus travel in Dunkirk is free, a great bonus as they run every 10 minutes from the named Gallilee stops outside the hotel..... Otherwise my stay was excellent, and I would certainly consider spending another stay at Fast Hotel...

Smelled really bad like smoke. The hotel said no smoking, but clearly, there is. The hotel is cheap and you get what you pay for. Skip the 8€ breakfast and find a McDonald's. The hotel was not very clean and we had no hot water. They said it broke, but no apologies.
