Excellent location as we arrived on a late ferry and we wanted a good night's rest before driving the next day. Breakfast wasn't exceptional but for 6 euros was more than adequate. Clean room and bathroom Great for late ferry arrivals or early sailings as it took less than 10 minutes to drive to.

There was a musty smell, I think from water damage to the floor as we were near the emergency exit. Air conditioning didn't really chill the room.

Friendly reception, comfortable beds, good value breakfast. Fine for breaking a journey, within easy reach of Calais and Dover. Next to a supermarket

Room was rather small for 3 people, especially if you have any bags. A bit noisy outside late at night. Best avoid ground floor - needed window open at night for ventilation, but anyone could have reached in or climbed in.

I stay here on very regular drives to Germany from the UK as it means I can get the ferry out of the way in the quiet period late at night and straight to Hotel before continuing on the next day. If you take it at face value – a reasonably clean (extremely clean bathroom) functional pod that, in my case, I arrive at between midnight and 2 am with self check-in although there is normally a nightwatchman available, and leave before checkout at 11 am, then it serves the purpose and is much better than getting an expensive cabin on a ferry etc. If you’re expecting amenities, look somewhere else. I suspect people only stay here for 10 hours max (a single Night). It is not near amenities but supermarket opposite though.

Nothing if you accept cheap and cheerful overnight stay.

Very basic. Small bathroom
