Everything was perfect, with all amenities that would be needed available. Our little American family were besotted with this beautiful little cottage and enjoyed their stay. The surrounding countryside was beautiful and in the future we would consider this place first :)

The cottage has been beautifully refurbished into a stylish yet practical and comfortable home. It was surprisingly spacious and well provisioned with utensils, crockery, towels etc. We also appreciated that there was a stairgate installed, and children’s crockery set available.
More information in the book would be helpful - the boiler needed to be switched on to make the heating work and I had to ring the caretaker to learn this, although they were very helpful when called

Location was great for walks and just outside busy Uppermill village
For me the property was a bit worn, not as clean as I would have hoped. Luckily for us we didn’t spend much time in the property as we was visiting family and friends
