We had a lovely two days here.
It was clean and a comfortable place to be. The chocolate fingers and croissant were welcome. There are fantastic views and sitting outside in summer must be fun but not a 4 degrees whilst we were there!
The TV is too high on the lounge wall for comfortable viewing from the settee, but we didn't go thee to watch much TV! The duvets were too warm until we discovered there were a pair of duvets inside and you could remove which ever one of them you needed. We did find our first night too warm under a 13.5 tog. Second night under 4.5 was very comfortable. The steps outside are steep and high, inside the stair to upstairs and steep and we found ourselves going up on hands and knees and care was required at night when visiting the bathroom. Not a great problem but you need to be aware.

Lovely accommodation, spectacular views.
The host communicated well. The house was lovely. It was spotlessly clean and Trish had left us snacks and a pint of milk in the fridge as well as the customary tea and coffee. The kitchen was well-stocked, the beds were comfortable and the view was beautiful. Parking was straightforward right outside on the street. The local area had pubs, restaurants and a supermarket within walking distance. We had a very pleasant stay and would use again.
As always with this part of the world, the local area is very hilly. This is entirely a matter of my own reluctance to walks up steep hills.

Ideal location. Lovely cottage. Stunning views.
The location was amazing for exploring the area. The cottage was lovely, characterful and was well appointed - everything we needed and a fantastic view. Nice beds, furniture, bed linen and towels. Loved the welcome basket and milk in the fridge. Free parking outside or close by the property. Trish was fantastic at communicating and very accommodating. She promptly answered any questions. We liked the welcome folder and its information about the local area and places to eat but property information about recycling, tv use eg instructions on how to watch live tv programmes by using the cable under the armchair) would have been welcome.
The property has the typical of the area charming steep stone steps leading up to the cottage and steep stairs to the first floor. While this was fine for me, my friend found them a struggle. Strategically placed grab handles or a bannister would be welcome as well as a note on the listing and/or photographs of the steps/stairs to advise people with mobility issues. We found the toilet roll holder is too far back on the wall to comfortably use and we took the toilet roll off the holder!
