The pop up plug for the sink in the En-Suite didn't work. Not a major problem though as there was a seperate bathroom.

The house was beautiful and everything was top of the range. So tastefully done. One of the hosts came with fresh milk on arrival and when I explained my mum isn’t in the best of health and needs to be warm even helped light the log burner
We had booked the stay as we had to move out of our house because of essential work needed doing and I was with my elderly parents. All the info showed the house was lovely and reviews saying it’s cosy and with a downstairs toilet it looked perfect. We set the central heating to 26 as my mum needs it warm but there is a door to outside in the living room behind a curtain and there was a really cold draught all evening from there. Even with the log burner on it was cold in the living room and my mum sat all night with her coat on and a blanket over her and even my feet were freezing. The wood we burned through in 3 hours and asked for some more and some was dropped off for us (I had said I was willing to pay for more) but this was so wet that it couldn’t burn (even after leaving on the radiator all night). We left the central heating on all night but even in the kitchen area where the thermostat was it never got more than 22 degrees. On the 1st morning again my mum had to sit with her coat and blanket over her so we messaged the owner to let them know we couldn’t stay because of the draught from the door in the living room and she replied that it is an old building and there are draughts but upstairs is lovely and warm.! Which it was but If we had wanted to sit in a bedroom all week we wouldn’t have booked a cottage. If the description had said it could be draughty (which I have seen on descriptions of other places) I would never have booked here. We had to leave and booked the lodges at Dovestones holiday park who were soo helpful so after less than 24 hours stay we left. Be aware in the winter it is very draughty in the living room and the owners are aware of this

The cottage is nice and quiet, well furnished and well equipped. We had everything we needed. The boot room was great for us and kept all our wet weather gear out of the main house. Parking outside the house was really helpful. The house was lovely and warm but you can adjust the radiators in the bedrooms to make it cooler upstairs which was good for us. We loved the wood burning stove. The location suited us perfectly and is within easy walking distance of 2 fabulous pubs. Our host was helpful and responsive.
Not a lot really, we enjoyed our stay.

The cottage was very well presented and easy to get to, places to park and everything we needed.
One more seat in the lounge maybe.
