Overpriced with poor host responsiveness

There was no WiFi as advertised, we endeavoured to make contact about this multiple times, and each time, we were assured it would be addressed. It was not. The washing machine had water supply turned off, not sure how we were meant to know. No detergent available. We purchased and left the remainder. No clothes rail to aid in drying, as advertised. No uptodate instructions or info on the house. That left was dated and offered no helpful information. We had to contact to find out where the bins were, a diagram left in the flat would have helped as they were not within the building. Superficially clean only. Shortly after arrival, 2 large bags with sheets and toilet rolls were left outside. No communication about this was made.

Dishonest advertising by the owner The property is called lake view and there is no lake view. The property is on the third floor with not lift and NO mention of this in the advertising Dirty woman’s products left in the bedroom

A great base for exploring Montreux and Vevey.

A great location near to the centre of town and convenient for the railway station and local public transport.

Not necessarily a dislike but the apartment is on the third floor with no lift/elevator so not suitable for people who find stairs a problem. Also be sure to visit the tourist information office opposite the railway station to claim your Rivera travel card. Free local travel and money off some local attractions.

We would definitely come back and stay here again.

This location was heaven, about a block from the train station. Close to markets, shops, etc. The apartment is spotless, the large double bed (more like a king) is really comfortable. Audry (the host) is very accessible and attentive. We loved having all this space during our stay, with a well appointed kitchen to cook if we wanted. The apartment is on the fourth floor (US) third floor (European) so be prepared to haul the luggage up, but the stairs are wide enough to maneuver easily, with big landings to stop and rest if necessary. Don't miss Chillon castle tour, it was outstanding. This city was made for walking. The lake is gorgeous and we didn't want to leave. Blazing fast, secure WiFi. We were here in February and it was chilly, but the radiators soon warmed up the entire apartment and we were cozy.

Nothing. Just an FYI -- be aware you'll be billed for a separate tourist tax during your stay which you can pay by credit card. I believe this is standard throughout Europe.

Chaleureux et atypique

La déco et l'emplacement de l'appartement étaient parfaits. Il faisait bon quand nous sommes rentrés à l'intérieur. Les équipements y étaient tous. Le soin apporté nous a plu, une bouteille d'eau à notre arrivée nous a fait plaisir.

Il manquait juste la possibilité de s'asseoir autour d'une table soit dans la cuisine soit dans le salon pour pouvoir manger. La toute petite table dans la cuisine était apparemment juste là pour présenter les cafés et les thés et un grand miroir y était posé dessus.

Die LAge war für uns gut.

Seeblick nur wenn man über 1,80 m groß ist und sich dementsprechend aus dem Fenster beugen kann. Fast das gesamte Mobiliar hat die besten Zeiten lange hinter sich. Die Betten durchgelegen, der Spiegel am Spiegelschrank im Bad- war weg, Wände zerkratzt, Dielen knarren derart laut, dass man aufpassen muss niemanden zu stören, extreme Geruchs und Lärmbelästigung wegen MAlerarbeiten in der Nachbarwohnung, schmutziges Geschirr, schimmel im Bad....

Völlig renovierungsbedürftige Wohnung zum unverschämten Preis

Sehr gute Lage nur ein paar Gehminuten vom Bahnhof und runter an die Promenade

Die auf Booking.com veröffentlichten Fotos entsprechen nicht mehr der Realität. Das Badezimmer ist völlig heruntergekommen, die Fugen alle verschimmelt, im Spiegelschrank gab es keinen Spiegel mehr, der WC Deckel hatte nicht die richtige Größe und musste dauernd neu befestigt werden. Die Wohnung ist auf max. 4 Personen ausgelegt, wir waren zu 5. Das 5. Bett ist ein Klappbett, das ich nicht als Bett bezeichnen würde. Kaum hat sich eine Person darauf gesetzt ist es zusammengekracht, ein neues wurde allerdings schnell organisiert. Der Esstisch war für 5 viel zu klein, es passten keine 5 grossen Teller darauf, geschweige denn weitere Gegenstände. Die Dunstabzugshaube in der Küche war bestimmt seid Monaten nicht mehr gereinigt worden, völlig verfettet und die Staubklumpen hingen herab. Dort etwas zu kochen wäre ekelig gewesen. Die "vollständige Küchenausstattung" besteht aus zusammengesuchten Einzelteilen, Reisesouvenir Tassen usw. Wir haben gerade so 5 Tassen zusammenbekommen, keine Geschirrtücher vorhanden. Alles in Allem eine Unverschämtheit so eine Wohnung für einen solchen Preis zu vermieten (knapp 1600 Euro für 4 Nächte).

Grand appartement proche de la gare et du lac

Nous avons apprécié l'emplacement proche de la gare et du lac. Le volume de l'appartement est très agréable et le vieux parquet très joli. Les lits sont grands et confortables. Les enfants ont pu profiter de la baignoire. Quelques aliments de base sont à disposition dans la cuisine : sel, sucre, huile, vinaigre, café et thé.

Il faut chercher la vue sur le lac, disponible en se penchant des fenêtres des chambres/ du salon et en regardant sur la gauche. Nous avions demandé un lit bébé qui n'était pas là. Les serviettes de bain pour les enfants manquaient également. De façon générale, l'appartement aurait besoin d'un rafraîchissement. La Montreux Riviera Card donnant accès à des réductions dans la région (musées...) n'est pas délivrée dans cet établissement.

Super localisation proche de la gare et du bord du lac. Clarté des instructions transmises avant l'arrivée. propreté du logement. Linges de bains mis à disposition.

L'annonce qui stipule "appartement avec vue sur lac" porte à confusion. En effet, cette dernière contient 3 différents appartements dont le notre qui n'avait ni balcon, ni vue sur le lac. Les photos mises en lignes sont mélangées et concernent les différents appartement. Attention donc de bien vérifier avant de réserver. La literie est un peu dépassée.

Séjour familial très agréable autour de Noël, dans une ville bien animée à cette période.

L'emplacement central de l'appartement permettant de profiter facilement de la ville et ses activités; Les nuits reposantes avec une literie confortable, dans un quartier calme; Le petit salon, espace de vie commune, permettant à ceux qui le veulent de veiller sans contraindre les autres.

Les escaliers : trois étages à monter avec des bagages toujours trop lourds!.. La 'vue lac' qui n'est réelle qu'en se penchant à la fenêtre...
