Decent

The space in the apartment. The cleanliness. The kitchen equipment.

The 3rd bedroom opens in the hall without a door. The distance from rail station. Surrounding supermarkets were far.

Overall, the stay had a good location, but was let down by cleanliness and maintenance issues.

The location was good, though the steep uphill walk made it challenging with luggage, so it’s best suited to guests who are reasonably fit.

We arrived slightly early, which I had advised the host of in advance, and he sent through the access code. However, when we arrived the apartment had not been cleaned. I contacted the host and it took some time for him to respond. Eventually the cleaner arrived and the apartment was ready by 5pm. This was not acceptable given the price paid, especially after travelling for over 30 hours. All we wanted was a shower and a short rest, but the towels and sheets were dirty so we were unable to do so. There were also several maintenance issues, including a broken bedroom door handle, a bed that broke when my daughter lay on it, and a broken chair. Please also note that this apartment does not include the local Riverina card for free public transport.

Forniture and position

Kitchen full of bugs traps and bugs during night indeed: unacceptable!!! Wifi wasn’t working and this is not a detail for Swiss staying. Bathrooms are really small, you can combine the two to get one. Outdated windows and noise coming from the stream that flows just a few meters from the house.

First time in Montreux. Apartment was in a good location and comfortable.

The apartment had plenty of space.

The apartment was not cleaned, we were given a time when it would be, an hour and a half later the cleaners got there. They did a really good job so it is a little hard to give a low rating.

Loved Montreux but would not stay at this apartment again

Spacious rooms. Clean.

The property is old and a bit tired. Mold in the bathroom. Sinks really awkward to wash hands and face and so is the shower. It is impossible to shower, the tap is at opposite end to the shower attachment. Towels are really hard and coarse. The windows are old and there is a lot of noise from outside as the river is right by the apartment. It drops with such a great force that even with ear plugs , there is a constant background noise all night as if a heavy machinery is running. Door handle of one of the bedrooms came off. There was a lot of noise from apartment above on the 3rd night, scraping and moving furniture all night

The location and the cleanliness of the property were excellent. It was also spacious than average.

There could be waste baskets in the toilet and the shower rooms. Generally disposing toilet papers down the drain is not a good idea.

Good apartment for a short stay in Montreux.

The location is very close to the station and the lake. Totally 3 independent bedrooms and living room were nice. Wi-fi was good too.

There was only one bathroom and one toilet (both in opposite ends of the house). Also the curtains in all rooms were too thin and offered little privacy. Garden in the apartment building was overgrown and unkempt.

Altbau Wohnung,gemütlich eingerichtet. Zentrum nah.

Braucht dringend eine Renovierung, Sonnenstore defekt,hängt über die Balkontüre, stört beim rausgehen. Türklinke vom Schlafzimmer fiel ab, Tür konnte nicht richtig geschlossen werden. Im andern Schlafzimmer defekte Steckdose. Das Schlafzimmer angrenzend dem Wohnzimmer hat keine Privatsphäre,da offener Durchgang zum Wohnzimmer.
