It’s nice, clean and directly in the city

I called there the day before from Germany and the lady on the line promised me that I could check in earlier than 4pm. Arrived at 2pm wanted to check in, nothing worked. Waited until 4pm went to the room and it was dirty and unclean. The cleaners came in at 6 pm and I arrived to late to the wedding

Convenient, clean, good property, but below average service.

Location was excellent, close to station, the lake, the old town, etc. The room was well appointed with a kitchenette, pans, plates, pots utensils, etc. The building is next to a local cafe/restaurant and convenient.

My TV never worked. The information on checking in and getting door codes was quite spartan, and it took some effort to figure out how to use the app interface and key code as there were duplicate toggles. The kithcenette appliances had displays in Cyrillic script, and it took a lot of effort to figure out how the appliances worked. I called the "front desk" but they did not either underdtand the problem (cyrillic script was unreadable for me), or fix the TV by adding batteries to the remote, as promised.

I requested the key earlier and I got a message that my room is ready, to go and find the cleaning service in my room. I had to wait for 1h outside as there is no lobby or rest area. WiFi is also not very good. I would say 4/10.

Cutting edge place, avoid it in summer

Place advertised as having AC, when I complained it didn’t work someone started trying me to convince that I didn’t know how to operate it. When I complained again next day I was told that they don’t have AC, despite clearly advertised with it, because Switzerland cares about the environment. What about caring about your customers? Same for the hot water, at least this was fixed next day. This seems to be a practice in Vaud, I stayed in many places and at least in other hotels they tell you they want to save energy, instead of trying to convince you that is your fault or greenwashing you with excuses.

Modernes und komfortables Hotel mit kleinen Verbesserungsmöglichkeiten

Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und hochwertig eingerichtet. Besonders angenehm war das bequeme Bett mit zwei Kopfkissen in unterschiedlicher Härte. Praktisch fanden wir den Fernseher, der sich sowohl zum Bett als auch zum kleinen Sofa drehen ließ. In der Dusche standen Duschgel, Shampoo und Conditioner bereit. Die Küche war bestens ausgestattet – mit Herd, Backofen inklusive Mikrowellenfunktion und Spülmaschine. Auch die vielen Steckdosen im Zimmer sind ein Pluspunkt, man sollte nur an den passenden Adapter denken. Der Check-in und Check-out liefen super unkompliziert komplett über die Web-App. Besonders praktisch: Wir konnten theoretisch schon ab 13:00 Uhr ins Zimmer, was eher außergewöhnlich ist. Da wir erst um 23:00 Uhr angereist sind, war die zeitliche Flexibilität für uns ein echter Vorteil. Die Aussicht war ebenfalls schön – rechts die Berge, unten ein kleiner Garten zur Mitbenutzung, und gegenüber Wohngebäude mit genügend Abstand. Dank blickdichter Gardinen und elektrischer Rollos war für Privatsphäre gesorgt.

Ein kleines Detail: Am Waschbecken hätten wir uns Seife gewünscht – das gehört für uns eigentlich zum Standard. Auch das Toilettenpapier könnte etwas hochwertiger sein. Bei den digitalen Schlüsseln ist die Idee wirklich praktisch, die Vielzahl an Zugängen wirkte für uns jedoch etwas unübersichtlich. Vermutlich lag es an der App-Übersetzung, dass manche Bezeichnungen auf Französisch erschienen. Noch komfortabler wäre es, wenn die App die Zugänge klarer strukturieren würde: oben die Haupteingänge, darunter das Zimmer, und erst danach Zusatzbereiche wie Fitnessraum oder Waschraum. So würde die Bedienung noch intuitiver.

Appartement très confortable, très propre avec tout l’équipement nécessaire. très bonne literie, Vue dégagée et très agréable de la chambre.

Une forte odeur d’égouts a été présente pendant trois jours sans explication. La climatisation est difficile à régler, souffle beaucoup et est plutôt froide.
