Superb location lovely house

Superb location overlooking the lake but high in the mountains. Good access to furnicular railway station just 5 minutes down the hill which takes you into Montreux. Had a great time here and would happily spend longer here.

Parking relies on public spaces being available, need more information on alternatives if these are full (there are some further down the hill in a little square)

Magnificent little house, very clean and comfortable, with an amazing view.

Magnificent little house, very clean and comfortable, renovated and decorated in the style of the belle époque with lots of antique furniture and attention to detail- there's even a grand piano in the living room. The location is excellent, just a stone's throw from the funiculare with breathtaking views that takes you to the lake in 8 minutes. The house itself offers an amazing view of the lake and the surrounding mountains. The beds are very comfortable and the children's bedroom has a little play corner that our girls enjoyed (age 10 and 12).

Excellent Swiss Chalet experience

This chalet is in a lovely stop with views on three sides. The terrace area is lovely to sit in and have a drink. Each room is lovingly furnished and has some beautiful things to look at which evoke Switzerland culture and traditions. We appreciated the attention to detail and care that had gone into welcoming us to the accommodation. The Nespresso coffee machine and generous supply of coffee was very really appreciated.

My husband is a little too tall for the traditional eaves and banged his head a couple of times. You do not get a tourist travel discount with this accommodation, unlike hotels in Montreux.

Cleanliness of the place. Easy check in. Nice restaurant “buffet de la gare” in the village, easy access to Montreux with train or funicular
