Casa Ross en Ruzafa

Ross was a fantastic host. He gave us a very warm welcome and showed us everything we needed to know. He was attentive and caring throughout our stay. The apartment was clean, comfortable, and well looked after. We had a wonderful time and would be very happy to come back.

The accommodation was clean and functional, and the location was very convenient. The shared spaces worked well, both sides had access to a balcony, and the host was communicative throughout our stay. Overall, the apartment itself was comfortable enough for a city trip.

Our main disappointment was that the level of privacy and exclusivity did not match what we expected for the price paid. We specifically filtered for a private bathroom and expected a more premium experience. While the bathroom was technically for our exclusive use, the overall setup felt much more like a room within a shared apartment than a self-contained accommodation. Future guests should interpret “private external bathroom” very literally. There were also some minor maintenance issues, including a broken shower holder, limited natural light and a bed that we personally found less comfortable. We felt that our concerns were met somewhat defensively rather than with an acknowledgement that guests may reasonably have different expectations. Had there been greater understanding of our perspective, this review would likely have been considerably higher.
