Carlisle City Centre. The Foremans Residence.

The apartment is large, clean, well appointed and very conveniently located in a quiet street. It is a short walk to the station, castle, cathedral, supermarkets, bus station, etc. The host is very approachable and very responsive. Would definitely stay here again in the future.

Location was fabulous. Great facilities available. Lovely to have two bathrooms. Plenty of space to relax in the evenings and lots of restaurants nearby.

A blind in the main bathroom would be good

It was in a great location. The property had a sofa and arm chair…great for 3 people. The kitchen was adequately resourced. It was comfortable and suited our needs. Close to a pay on exit carpark and lots of good restaurants near bye. An easy walk to the station.

The second bedroom is up a second flight of steep steps and is in the eves of the house. It’s not possible to walk around the bed without bending over to avoid hitting your head on the far side of the bed…I am only 5ft1inch and I had to bend over to get in and out of bed. I think this should have been made clearer in the description. There is also no parking outside 5he property, it is double yellow lines, the main road does have 1 hour maximum parking but only at set times. There are several public car parks close to the apartment the cheapest was £10 for 24 hour stay - pay on exit. This was easy but again I think it should have been clearer in the description. One of our towels looked as if it was a hairdressers towel as it was covered in bleach marks

The location of the property is good for access to the local services and the railway station, easy access to the property using the key-cade from door and the lock box for the second door. Bathrooms were very clean. Joe kept us well informed about our stay and how to access the property.

The location means it is quite noisy into the night (we stayed on a weekend, this maybe different during the week) I think it is time the property invested in some new mattress's. The one in the downstairs room was very well worn and incredibly soft meaning you rolled together all night and the one in the upstairs room was like sleeping on a lump of wood. The carpets and soft furnishings could do with some deep cleaning as were very "grubby"
