Grandpa's hunting cabin (is a compliment)9

The location was about it. A quick 15-minute walk into town, and we could get to anything from there.

Rm 6- The bathroom shower overflows, not enough light in the bathroom, the doorknob fell off in my hand, cobwebs, and dead bugs around the toilet and under the heat register. Rm 7-bathroom also dirty w/ cobwebs around toilet and under heat register. The towels, I think they were used to wash a car. They were old, paper thin, and stained. NO sitting area in a "family apartment ", nowhere to sit and be with family. just 2 bedrooms, and a kitchen (with a bed in it). We had a VERY difficult time finding the place. All we had to go on was Family Apartment mit Balcony. After calling the front desk, all he said was, "We're at 25 Sinnhubstrasse. You can't miss us, and the code for your key is xxxx." Well, once we finally found it. the name on the sign out front was Kasererbraeu, and the name on the front of the building was Eva Maria. So, I called him again. He said "yes that's it, you're in room 6." No further instructions. I was standing in front of a house, not an apartment building. There was no front door, and no doors with #on them. I then had to ask for directions to "Rm 6". It was behind the house and up 2 flights of stairs. Not much help, and overall, the place was old and dirty. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

Over-Priced & inaccurate Description ,Felt un-safe

We liked the location of the property & the outside balcony & the confortable clean beds. We enjoyed staying amongst nature and close to a nearby pond/lake so heard geese & ducks in the background. Two of the bedrooms was very spacious with a en-suites that included clean towels & complimentary shower gel & shampoo. Within our stay we reached out for support to a male worker who provided a mattress for one of my group to sleep on the floor in one of the 2 bedrooms as there was no 3 bedrooms as stated in the description. I recived a prompt reply for the key safe number from the owner.

Where do I begin- I purposely chose this accomadation on the description of 3 bedrooms (one room for each guest) however when we arrived it was soon revealed that in fact there was only 2 (extremely large) bedrooms & sadly a single bed was placed in the small kitchen which was very unfair when the smell of cooking absorbed into the small single bed & their clothing so the description is inaccurate. One of the ladies in my group had to sleep on a mattress in one of the bedrooms which was far from ideal because of the bedroom/kitchen issue. There is a massive health & safety issue with the power points in the small kitchen as there is only 1 plug socket which is next to the kitchen sink/tap which was very concerning (see picture ) There was no microwave (maybe a UK thing) which we missed. The Apartment needs a living room area with some comfortable chairs & a sofa where we could relax and chat about our day -this was desperately needed and could be achieved if the single bed was removed from the kitchen and advertised as a 2 bedroom apartment (maybe add some bunk beds in the largest bedroom). The one way busy road was very noisy and parking our hire car was an issue -there was details where you can and cannot park and after a long day sightseeing there was no where to park on return and parked in the apartment garage door,later that evening at 11:45pm while we was asleep exhausted there was shouting & loud banging on the door (which was terrifying as we was a group of ladies on our own ) and a man (who was heavily under the influence of alcohol ) was shouting at us continuously to move the car ,which we did however the whole experience left us all shaken ,Very scared & anxious and un-safe and I am so glad this happened on our last night ,it’s very obvious that the other residents are not happy with our apartment being a holiday rent and felt un-welcomed and in-stable throughout our stay.

Rooms acceptable, owner unresponsive, no second key, difficult stairs.

For collecting the keys, we were given a wrong code. Only after a phone call did we receive the correct one. We asked for a second key, which was refused because "they do not have one". Imagine: the place sleeps at least five people, but they claim to have only a single key. In fact, in this phone call with an employee, the owner was in the same room and answered his employee's questions, but refused to talk to us. Two long sets of stairs lead to the room. The outside one is slippery and hard to manage, especially when wet.

Die schlechste Ferienwohnung, die ich je gesehen habe. Ein absolute Katastrophe.

Grundsätzlich ist die Lage für die Stadt Salzburg gut. Man läuft ca. 20 min in die Innenstadt. Allerdings liegt die Unterkunft an einer extrem stark befahrenen Straße. Der Lärm ist unerträglich. Man kann tagsüber nicht auf dem Balkon sein. Nachts mit geöffnetem Fenster schlafen ist auch kaum möglich.

Die gesamte Ausstattung der Wohnung ist uralt. Die Wohnung war dreckig. Die Küche wurden aus voll ausgestattet beschrieben, hat aber keinen Geschirrspüler. Es gab nicht genügend Besteck und Geschirr oder übliche Küchenutensilen. Teilweise schließen die Fenster und Türen nicht bzw. sind nur mit Gewalt zu schließen. Die Elektroanschlüsse, Steckdoesen und Lampen sind uralt teilweise defekt, so dass man Angst hat, etwas anzufassen. Es gibt eine einzige Steckdose in der Küche bei der winzigen Arbeitsplatte. Diese Steckdose ist direkt ab Abwaschbecken. Wasser und Strom sind grundsätzlich kein Traumpaar. Die Abflüsse in den Duschen waren teilweise verstopft, so dass das Wasser nur extrem langsam abgeflossen ist.
